Blessings Un-expected

In the Bible the Lord says: Those that help the poor are really helping me (The Lord), and in return I will help him that has helped me".
This is so true. I have been giving blankets and clothing to the poor recently out the depths of my heart without expecting anything in return but here it came that I myself was in need of help to get clothing for my children for school which starts next week b/c both of their fathers are gone and I am a single parent. Well, here a woman came and bought a few things for my son which helped alot. So as you can see, when you help those in need without expecting things in return, the Lord sees your sincerity and when you need help he finds help for you. We are never in need when we have the Lord and each other. Thats why he says "love your neighbor as yourself" and thats what it's all based on. By loving each other and putting ourselves in other peoples shoes and help them the way we'de like to be helped, we are all helping one another as one body in Christ.
