While meditating on God’s Word, a couple of passages kept coming to mind. I read both passages in different translations and it ministered to my life in such an awesome way. Let me share them with you all.
John 15:16-17 says, ”You didn’t choose me, remember; I chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won’t spoil. As fruit bearer, whatever you ask the Father in relation to me, He gives you. But remember the root command: Love one another.”
Isaiah 43:1 …” But now, God's Message, the God who made you in the first place, Jacob, the One who got you started, Israel: "Don't be afraid, I've redeemed you. I've called your name. You're mine. When you're in over your head, I'll be there with you. When you're in rough waters, you will not go down. When you're between a rock and a hard place, it won't be a dead end— because I am God, your personal God, The Holy of Israel, your Savior. I paid a huge price for you: all of Egypt, with rich Cush and Seba thrown in! That's how much you mean to me! That's how much I love you! I'd sell off the whole world to get you back, trade the creation just for you.
The next time the devil tries to make you feel like you’re nothing, a meaningless someone, or just a sinner that God doesn’t listen to. Remember these verses and recite them back to him. Let’s imitate our Lord Jesus and fight the devil with the Word. Remember to start with “It is written…” and add your verses.
For His Glory
