“All over the world”
Someone wakes up every morning with a sad broken heart.
Their life changed forever because a killer hit his mark.
Someone goes to sleep at night praying the nightmares won’t come;
While they pray their lost child will soon be coming home.
Someone wakes up every morning to face another day of pain;
Knowing the doctors cannot help them, its driving them insane.
Someone walks the floors all day, wondering what went wrong;
Why their life is torn apart and their dreams all gone.
Someone wakes up every morning facing another stressful day;
While the job that kept them going has suddenly slipped away.
Every night a soldier goes to sleep in some far away land.
Praying the bombs won’t fall and bury him in the sand.
All over the world someone goes to sleep with fear in their heart.
They long to make things better but don’t know where to start.
All over the world politicians cause more divisions,
As the people pick up the tab for their leader’s bad decisions.
All over the world, people are running to and fro;
Knowledge increasing every day, while wisdom is moving very slow.
Ever learning but never able to come to the truth;
While deceptions and confusions are enslaving our youth.
Somewhere up above, an All Seeing Eye is watching from a ridge.
He knows the world He made is now hanging on a ledge.
Somewhere very soon Satan will make his final stand;
Then our Lord will appear again, with judgment in His hands.
All over the world God has His people standing by;
They wait patiently for the sound of that Midnight cry.
Every morning they awaken and see more signs unfold;
Every night they expect the Eastern skies to roll back like a scroll.
My prayer is that God will heal the sick and the lame;
Bring peace to a world that only He can change.
As I try to reach out, I pray for wisdom when I speak;
And that All Over the World, His salvation they will seek.
Dan 12:4…
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
2nd Timothy 3:1-9
1. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4. Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers’ lusts,
7. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds reprobate concerning the faith.
9. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
