Abide In Christ by Andrew Murray

Started my daily reading time with this book, you know the kind a chapter for every day.

I did answer the call to "Come unto me", I repented, was born again,filled with his spirit. I've song the song "If you abide in me and my word abide in you etc" but today a light bulb turned on or got a little brighter. I do not wake up everyday and wonder am I worthy to live in my house, to abide in my house. The rent is paid it's kept pretty clean and tidy. I have even decorated and taken the time to make this house a home. So I realise I no longer have to feel worthy to abide in Christ this is part of His invitation, my spirit and soul have a permant home in him. I have already answered when he knocked on my door and asked him in and he came in. He is waiting for me to take up spiritual residence in him not just durning my prayer and study time but every second of everyday. Not only does he live in me but he wants me to abide in him. The rent is paid by his blood, he is always there for me I just have to remind myself where my true abiding is and should be.
