A Newbie to "All About GOD"

Hello everyone, I am not quite sure how this website works yet but I'm sure I will learn. I am looking to make new friends and seek advice from people who love and live for God. I am almost 40 years old. I am in the process of my second divorce. I have a 16 year old daughter who has a 6 month old son, and i also have a 9 year old son. I was saved at a young age and "religion" was forced on me so much that I just flat out "rebelled". I have been searching for happiness all of my life and just can't seem to find it. I have recently come to the realization that I need to stop trying to do things my way and let God take control of my life. I really need some help and support with this. I am stuck in a situation now that I can't see an end to. I am asking for your prayers that God will help me and show me His way.
