A New Life...

On or about August 1 2010, I got on my knees - and I gave my life to Jesus Christ - the one who gave his life for me. The reason WHY is not important, I have ALWAYS believed that everything happens for a reason, and circumstances in my life brought me to the Lord...what is important is that I was given a "new life" - a "second chance" so to speak - and I plan to live my life to the fullest - when I leave this world to go home to my father...I want him to look at me and say "Good Job Lori Ann!". This is what I will strive for.

I know I am not perfect, nor will I ever be - but Jesus Christ died on a cross so that I can be forgiven of my sins...sin separated me from God, and because of His unfailing love for us, God sent His one and ONLY son - who was without sin - to PAY THE ULTIMATE PRICE for MY sin - it was a GIFT from Him to us to bridge the separation between us and Him. All you have to do is believe it - and accept the gift.

God loves us more than anything. He proved that.

I know there are people who will have a hard time accepting my new life, and there will be people who can't accept it - but know this - my faith is unshakeable - and THIS IS ME now. My faith gets STRONGER & STRONGER everyday.

I know I will lose friends, I may even lose family members - if this happens (I hope it doesn't) I will accept that it is God's will. He never promised it would be easy - as a matter of fact - he kind of promised it would be HARD - but he also promised it would be "WORTH IT".

And the Devil - well he had me for 46 years - he's not going down without a fight either - but that's okay - my FAITH is much stronger then he is. It was the affliction that the Devil brought to my life, to try to break me so he could claim my soul... that brought me on my knees to the Lord - (it kind of bit the Devil right in his evil a**...didn't it???)

Thank you Jesus for your awesome gift to me, all the blessings and the STRENGTH you give me on a daily basis. GOD...YOU ARE AWESOME!!!

You have truely counted the cost before building upon the foundation of Jesus Christ and so you have a big advantage over many who except God by emotions and feelings without any intellectual involvment. You have made a vow to the Lord and remember to keep your vow and God will keep His. Don't let the World and Satan keep you under, for there will be times when you think you are drowning. Call on Jesus, recite a powerful scripture and realize that what goes down must come up, especially when there are angels pulling you up for air. You may not realize how hard Jesus is fighting to bring you into the light, so beleive it by faith. God is gracious and a good Father. Welcome.

Thank you for sharing your testimony. I love to hear about new children being born into the kindgdom of God and are standing strong in the faith. I assure you that there will be those who ' reject ' or leave you altogether , but for every one of them, God leads new brothers and sisters to you who will help you through anything.

I accepted the Lord over 30 years ago and have very few of the same friends I had then ( for one reason or anotherbut God Himself has shown me that He is sufficient to make up for any loss and that He will provide the life that we never dreamed that we could have.

Many trials have come over these many years but God has never failed or abandoned me once , so I encourage you to maintain your complete confidence in Him because it is well founded and ( in spite of things you may experience )
His record for coming to the aid of His children is still intact at 100% .
