have I failed as a mother
have I failed as a wife
have I failed as a daughter
have I failed in my life
have I failed as a friend
have I failed as a sister
have I failed to defend
have I failed in this twister
called life...
maybe? but Jesus forgives all..and makes new
so He says I don't blame you.
I will protect you and heal,
and make you realise,
all the blessings I've given you,
My child, I hear your cries,
so give them all to Me
and I will lead you from the past
and give you a future
With Me.

Chris, well, I have nearly always tried to do my best, I guess that's all we can do, I've sure made mistakes along the way, and I'm often reminded of them, but you know, you can't erase your past, scratch that.. Jesus can .. but now I'm trying to do better than 'my' best, as I have a helper, a comforter and I am sprouting from the good soil. :)Thank you for your kind words, means a lot,
Amanda, so true, sometimes feels like on an escalator with a straight surface and yet each time Jesus is there for us. He is our strength and when it seems we have none left he carries us. :D
