2009 World's Most Powerful People

Forbes Magazine released yesterday their list of this year's Most Powerful People in the World. 67 made the list mainly Heads of State, businessmen, religious figures, media heads and one drug trafficker. They ranked the individuals who made it into this year's list based on influence over lots of other people, financial resources controlled by these individuals, whether they are powerful in multiple spheres, and if the individuals actively use their power. I'll be more vigilant next time. My only intention is to share my thoughts on the articles I read and share available information of interest. What happens if one christian can get closer to these powerful people and throw Jesus' bombshell? The world is our mission field. Let us not be shy to know what's going on. I'd rather step out of the boat and rescue the perishing people of the world than to sit and enjoy the comfort of the four walls of our small churches. Shalom!
