"...having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!"

"For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women...always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." 2Timothy 3.

Oprah is deceived. And she is deceiving millions of others. I'm not surprised by this turn of events. The signs were there for Oprah years ago. I have studied and taught on New Age and occult mysticism for years. There was a time that churches were hungry for the knowledge--wanting to be educated as to what the enemy was doing, and how to combat it. But then the doors closed. People began to believe they were O.K. The danger had passed. Not so. The danger went underground again, and has now emerged as a full-blown plague. It's adherents are arrogant and everywhere. Prosletyzing openly and with monstrous success, they have made great inroads into homes, schools, and even the church. Remember, Oprah considers herself to be a Christian.

There are several points that simply destroy the arguments Oprah--and others of her persuasion--put forth.

1. All roads do not lead to God. Jesus said, "I am the way , the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." That just can't get any plainer. Therefore, other paths may lead to what those followers call "god," but they DO NOT lead to the God of the Bible. The one and only true God.

1a. All roads cannot lead to God, because all religions do not agree with each other. Christianity teaches that there is only one God in three Persons. Hinduism teaches that there are millions of gods. Christianity asserts that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. Islam teaches that Allah has no sons. These are just a few examples. They can't all be right. They contradict each other. Consequently and logically, they cannot all lead to the same ending.

2. Jesus did not come to show us our own divinity. Jesus did indeed claim to be God. The Bible proclaims His divinity--not ours.

A few verses? O.K.:

John 10:30, "I and My Father are one."

Revelation 1:8, "I am the Alpha and the Omeaga, the Beginning and the End," says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

John 1:1-5, In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

That darkness has blinded Oprah and others to the true Light. The light they follow is false. Satan appears to them as an "angel of light." But his light does not bring vision--only blindness. It will finally lead them to eternal darkness and damnation.

Prayer is needed. Prayer that those who are blinded by the dark light will listen to the still small voice of the Holy Spirit, and leave their treacherous false path.

Listen...Can you hear? The Spirit is calling you, and Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart. "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me."

The doorknob is only on the inside. The Lord Jesus Christ waits for you to open the door of your heart to Him and all that He has for you.

Oprah Winfrey and Eckhart Tolle have no place for your eternal soul. The angel of false light holds only a future of bitter pain and despair. JESUS CHRIST is the "Light of the world." And He loves you.

Open the door of your heart to Jesus.
