Satan tempts Jesus

Matthew 4:3-10.As you read these scriptures you will see that Jesus response to all three temptaions was to quote the Word of God, Which is to show us His Followers the power of scripture in battling the the evil one(see Deut. 6:13;8:3; Ps. 91:11,12). There was nothing morally wrong with turning stones to bread; Satan was tempting Jesus to do a miracle outside of the Father's will. This explains why Jesus quotes Deut. 8:3. Bread alone does not sustain life; ultimately God is the One who sustains all life. Thus it is our responsibility to trust God and remain in His will.
