God, I am not able . . . Christ is Lord

With respect to the broken relationship between my daughter and myself, I found some words that spoke to my soul this morning. It is from: The Unchained Soul by Calvin Miller. Here it is:"Two sentences must remain forever linked: God, I am not able; and Christ is Lord. How often I have seen these sentences of our insufficiency and his all-sufficiency follow hard upon the other." I confess that this is TRUE and Christ is Lord, the great Healer of all that is broken. I'll let the Lord fix this thing between my daughter and myself. I'll let the Lord put His arms around my grandson . . . and because I am in Christ, my arms will be around my grandson too.
