There is only one possible solution , only one way to be happy and content. That is to have everything your heart desires. Let me repeat, it is possible. God says,"He shall bring it to pass."

You see, the secret is in what you desire - "He shall give thee the desires of thine heart." Now approach the problem this way:

*First, realize that God the Father loves you, and wants the very best for you because you belong to Him. A milk company has "contented cows" because they say contented cows give more and better milk.. God wants contented children because contented children produce more and better fruit for His glory.

*Second, Remember God deals with the future. We usually think only of the present. Read it again. It does not say He will give you every "thing" you desire, but He will give you the desires of your heart. Your foolish heart might desire something that would harm you, and He loves you too much to permit it.
Your selfish heart might desire something that would ruin your life, but His wisdom cannot grant such a request.
Your carnal heart might desire something that would wreck your spiritual life, and hinder your growth. His love will not permit it.
Your greedy heart might desire something that would make you a spiritual pauper. His heavenly Father's heart cannot allow it.
Your self-centered heart might desire something that would break your fellowship with Him, and His perfect love cannot grant it.
Your blind heart might desire something for the present that would be a curse to you in the future. He who "sees the end from the beginning" must say "No."
When we do not have what we desire, there is something wrong with our desires. We ask for things that harm us. He promises in Psalm 84:11 that "no good thing" will be withheld. That is true, but still if we are to be content we must have everything we desire.
