Read this in a booklet my eldest gave to me before she went on her year for Christ, and i would love to share it with all my dear and special friends:
The gift of friendship
Friendship is a pricelss gift
that can't be bought or sold
but its value is far greater
than a mountain made of gold.
so when you ask God for a gift,
be thankful if He sends
not diamonds, pearls or riches,
but the love of real true friends.

May the Lord bless you dearly for that: it is what most of us miss despite the fact that Christ repeated same, even if not in so similar wordings...love your neighbour as you love yourself.
I thank God for sincere, precious friends like you too. Like I always say, its medicinal to see a smile on a friend's face. Carry on smiling!
And thank God, I eventually caught that line on how you came to be called Nienie...a beautiful name really and...thank God too for the gift of small children. if it were not for them, we would be calling you Fienie now, right? Aren't they just wonderful creatures, little children. God bless the children.
