God is really so good to me. We picked our new furniture today. A couch, loveseat, coffee table, two end tables and two lamps. We purchased all of that, plus delivery and a one year warranty for under $1200.00. I am very excited. All except the tables will be here on Thursday. The tables we wanted were out of stock until the beginning of November. We decided to wait, because we like those tables best.

All of our kids have new winter coats, and I saved some money for their boots and such. I have amazing kids. My daughters did the dishes today when they came home from school. They take turns making breakfast and packing lunches every morning. They help with laundry and other chores as well. I am so blessed to be the mother of such wonderful babies.

I spent last night with my Cynners. She really means alot to me. I am so blessed that God has given her back to me. Truthfully, we don't what we ever did without each other. I was grateful that I was able to place a smile on her face last night. Girl, you know that God is so good! You know you want to come tomorrow and get some of these cookies...lol.

Today I spent the day with my parents; which was nice, because I hardly ever see them. I took them to lunch, made them dinner and no bake cookies. My lovely mother folded my laundry and did my dishes; and my daddy helped my hubby carry our old couch down to the dumpster. It was so good to spend that time with them. I didn't realize I missed them so much.

There were some issues that tried to bring me down, but it didn't work. There are too many positive things going on in my life; all due to the grace of God. I never would be where I am if not for His favor in my life. It is because I choose to count my blessings, rather than burdens, that I can stay as positive as I do. My faith is alive and I give it a voice. Afterall, what good is faith if you don't speak it into existence? I know God has big plans for our life, and I cannot wait to be all about His business; and less about my own.

Whether I choose to let my circumstances control me, or I choose to rise above them, I must still go through them. It is my belief that when we have the right attitude the right feelings will follow. Not only that, but when we don't have the right attitude, the circumstances will not go away as quickly. God allows those circumstances in our life to teach us and shape us. If we are not focused on God, and instead are focused on the situation, how can we expect Him to bring us through quickly? If we must go through life either way, why not go through it with rose-colored, half-full glasses? May each and every person in the world find God and may He show them what He has shown me.
