"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
God hears your prayers and guides you - even in the worst possible circumstances. Oh, He’s so good! All I want to do is shout! Why? Because He surely is “the Lord that healeth thee.” (Ex. 15:26) and a “rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” (Heb. 11:6)
I must give God the glory for all the wonderful things He has done! For years I had been praying and standing in faith for my back to be straightened. I had a curvature in the spine, which had been gradually deteriorating over the years.
Glory be to God – my whole skeletal system is straight, evened out from neck to soles of my feet, and my brittle bones have been made strong! That’s not one, but two creative miracles! I’m dancing and signing songs of praise to Him!
It’s not a matter of if He will heal you, but when. He sees the heart and rewards faith. It’s important not to give up and to keep thanking Him for healings already received, even when they have not yet manifested.
On the cross Jesus took on Him all diseases, even those that were not yet known at the time. God is your creator, and what He made is very good. (Gen. 1:31) The devil is in the world, messing things up. Through the sins of your forefathers passed on through generations you medical conditions get passed on. Insufficient nutrition also creates havoc, as do accidents and the consequences of irrational actions.
But God! He has given you His Holy Spirit, who came to indwell you when you were saved. He is the anointing of God. The power in you is awesome. It’s not a matter of tapping into a positive mindset or feeling of invincibility. It’s all about knowing whose you are and who has made the ultimate sacrifice to make you whole – in every way.
Consider, then the awesome force available in corporate anointing, when a group of Spirit-filled believers praise God as with one voice and one heart,
A man of God bestowed with the spiritual gift of miracles visited at our church. The anointing on the corporate worship of the congregation and the ministry of the Word resulted in an avalanche of creative miracles and healings.
There are many prayers available to you for healing through the Scriptures; prayers of deliverance, agreement, intercession, spiritual warfare, etc. The Lord chose to reach down and touch me at His time, in His way.
It’s at times like these, when the Lord blesses me with a creative miracle that I not only feel totally humble, but repentant for all the times that I was impatient, wondering when He would hear my prayers.
Along with King David I sing:
“From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. For You, O God, have heard my vows; You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name.” (Ps. 61: 2-5)
