All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I pray right now Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, That this message will set free some of your children that are being held captive by the doctrines of man, Let them search this blog and test it against the Word. And hold fast to only what is true. I ask this and all things in the mighty name of Jesus Amen!!! This is what was taught to me when i became a Pastor 4 years ago.Learn About The Cross. Let’s look into the Word. Turn to Matthew 10:38, "And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me."
The Self Life.
Go to Matthew 16:24, "Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." He’s talking about self-life or in other words a life wherein someone is dependant upon themselves to attain to right standing with God. We can only receive right standing by denying that we are capable of a right standing and can only attain through the work of the cross of Christ.
C. Take Up HIS Cross.
Don’t take a legalistic look at this verse and feel that you have got to put a cross on your shoulder. Some think that’s what it means, but God shows us that it is saying take up HIS cross, because in HIS cross is HIS redemption. If you take up YOUR cross, that can’t save anybody. Read that last one again, Matthew 16:24, "Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." In other words, his or her share of the inheritance of the cross. Remember, a self-inflicted, self-imposed "cross" that is designed to gain you points with God is classified a "dead work."
The Cross Is The Key To The Kingdom.
Everybody Gets A Cross.
Why does scripture say for every man to take up his cross to that man, if it’s Christ’s cross? Because the cross is the key. Write it down: "The cross is the key to the Kingdom of God." So… everyone gets a cross. Everyone gets a key.
The cross is your key. You are going to learn something about the key to the kingdom and how Jesus wasn’t speaking about legalistic, under-the-law, mentality when he said, "Pick up your cross…". He didn’t mean for you to carry the weight of the world again when He already carried it. He is expecting you to take up your inheritance in HIS cross. Your share. Let every man take up his share of the cross. It’s your inheritance. If I am not right, then why does the scripture say, "… by His stripes, we were healed".
Now, think for a minute. When scripture says you are partakers of His suffering, does it mean that you should get whipped like Jesus? (1 Peter 4:13)
No, he was saying be a partaker of His suffering. In other words, His substitutionary work. We substitute His suffering for ours, so we don’t have to. When you are a partaker of Christ’s sufferings, that’s what it means. Why should we have to suffer for salvation when He did it all.
A New Nation/ Nationality.
How many of you know we are a new nationality in Christ? (1 Peter 2:9, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.")
How many of you know we are a new nation? That’s how all races can come together in Christ, by knowing that they are no longer of a particular race in in the natural. They are a new race. A new what? A holy what? A holy nation - Nationality. A chosen generation - Gene.... Generation. A new seed. A new creation, begotten of the Father, in Christ, planted in you with an operation made without hands. (Colossians 2:10-11) The putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh. Planted in Him with an operation. I am a partaker of my inheritance. I am a partaker of divine nature. It’s scriptural. It is sound doctrine.
Read Mark 8:34, "And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."
Denying Self.
1. Deny You Can Save Yourself.
Now go over to Hebrews, Chapter 6 and we’ll show you what Jesus is saying when he says, "…deny himself," in Mark 8:34 What it is saying is that you are to deny that you can save yourself. You can’t do it. It’s been done in the cross. Don’t think it means take up the cross in the sense of taking on His burden, but take up the cross in the sense of taking up your inheritance in Christ.
The Cross Is The Key of David.
The cross is the Key of David. Let’s verify that. Let’s go to Revelation, Chapter 3, to verify that and then we’ll go to Hebrews, Chapter 6 and we’ll show you that the first two foundation stones are denying oneself and taking up the cross.
He That Hath The Key.
Revelation 3:7.
Look at what Jesus said in, Revelation 3:7, "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;"
What Does He Open and Shut?
What did he "openeth" and what did he "shutteth"? He shut one thing and opened another thing. That’s what we need to focus on because in that work where he opened and shut; that’s where you bind and loose. Bind and loose, in the Greek, means the same thing as open and shut. If you want to bind somebody, you shut them in a prison. You want to loose them, open the prison door. Open and Shut. The Key of David. Is it the cross, is it the key of Christ?
Repentance From Dead Works.
Now let’s turn to Hebrews 6:1, "Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works…..."
What Is Repentance From Dead Works?
Repenting from self. Repenting from saying, "I can do it." Anything done in self is a dead work.
I am going to repent from trying to do it myself. I’m going to take up the cross, wherein it’s already been done. That’s what "dead works" means. Trying to do what only the cross of Christ can do. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says. Faith towards God is taking up the cross.
The Key is the Cross of Christ.
Deny himself, and take up the cross. Let’s find more scriptures regarding the cross. Look at Mark 10:21, "Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me."
Take up what? THE cross. THE cross is the cross of Christ. Replace your slave labor in the death camp of sin with your liberation, in the work of Christ. If you keep trying to do it, you’re just going to just keep trying to be a slave to the law of sin and death when you have been liberated from that law. Don’t continue operating under the law of sin and death, operate in the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:2, "For the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.")
Here is another one. Go to Luke 9:23, "And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me."
It’s A DAILY Thing.
The first scripture, Mark 10:21 says "THE cross" right? This one says DAILY. Write down, "DAILY". Ah, so you mean you can’t take it up once? I thought that if I get saved, I get saved. NO, you have to take up the cross DAILY. What does that correlate with? Let’s go to Colossians 1:20-22, "And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:" So basically the idea is the believer should stay in a position whereby he or she might receive the benefits of the cross of Christ at every level on a daily basis. One way to do this is upon arising in the morning to say, "I am crucified with Christ, I am resurrected with Christ and I am seated with Christ in Heavenly Places." Another scripture that endorses the preaching of the cross can be found in Corinthians (1 Corinthians 1:18, "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.")
The Cross Is The Key To The Kingdom of God.
Unlocking The Lock with The Key.
We’re am going to prove to you that the cross is the key to the kingdom of God and then everything will begin to fall into place in the scriptures concerning the Key of David and how to bind and loose. It is so easy to bind and loose when you know how to use the work of the cross as the key in our licensed authority.
HE Presents Us Unblameable To The Father.
As you read verse 21, He is presenting us. I am presenting myself to Him and He is presenting me to the Father. Jesus is going to present you unblameable and unreproveable in his sight. Read it again. You can’t even be reproved in His sight. Read the next verse, Colossians 1:23, "If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;"
Continuing In The Faith.
Let him take up his cross DAILY; that’s CONTINUING IN THE FAITH.
You don’t start one day in the faith and begin the next day saying, "Ah, woe is me. …what’s going to happen now?" No, you STAY in Him where it’s already finished. And if you can’t, you work at that. You have to disciple yourself to keep a good profession and hold fast to it. (Hebrews 10:23, "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised.")
Sometimes we’re taught wrong. Sometimes we’re taught we have to confess it to make it so. Don’t do that. Confess it because it is so. Write that down. Don’t profess it to make it so, profess it because it is so. That’s different.
Confessing it to make it so, takes you into dead works. Confessing it yourself… and trying to get blessed through your profession takes you into dead works. You ARE blessed and your confession takes you into it, so you might appropriate what is yours, in Christ.
THE Faith.
Colossians 1:23 says you continue where? In THE faith. Where? THE faith. There are a lot of faiths out there, but there’s only one "THE" faith. You can have a little faith in God and a little faith in that man, or that church, but there’s only one "THE" faith. Continue in that faith, grounded and settled and not moved away from the hope of the gospel (good news – Jesus crucified, risen from the dead and coming again. Galatians 3:23, "But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed."
Now the way to continue in the faith is to affirm constantly. It’s by grace, through faith. Affirm constantly and reckon (recognize) yourself dead. Romans 6:11 and Titus 3:5-8.
Daily Affirmation.
The book of Titus confirms that we should be affirming constantly. Daily say (out loud), "I am crucified, dead, resurrected and seated with Christ in heavenly places," in addition say phrases like, "By God’s grace," or "By His willpower." Ephesians 2:8, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God,"and Philippians 2:13, "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."
This is the walk that is going to take the church into Heaven when Jesus calls.
Scripture says it in Ephesians 2:6, that He made us sit down with him in Heavenly places. "And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.." He MADE me sit down with Him. When you assume a seated position, and that trumpet sounds, you’re going to translate over into the kingdom. Your body is going to follow where your soul already is because you’re lining up soul with spirit. After the soul lines up with the spirit, in the body of Christ, then the body will line up with the soul and we’re going to go, goodbye. See you all later. We’re gone. We’re out of here.
The Gospel Of The KINGDOM.
A Further Step in the Gospel Message.
That’s why Jesus said when the Gospel of the Kingdom is preached to all nations, NOT the gospel of salvation, the Gospel of the Kingdom. That’s a step further in the gospel message…Kingdom life. That where, "I am, you may be also." "I go to prepare a place for you." (John 14;3, "…that where I am, there ye may be also.")
How often? Constantly.
Titus 3:8, "This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men."
Do you know why? Every time you turn around something is trying to get you out of your profession. As soon as you say, "It’s done in Christ", slowly but surely here comes that OTHER message, "what are we going to do now?" That’s the message that comes in your head. That sums it up. "What am I going to do now?" Don’t worry; you don’t have to do anything. It’s all done in the Son!!!!
Well let’s look, John 6:29, "Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."
It’s Done In The Son.
You have to work at that, how? By affirming constantly that it’s done in the Son. It’s done in the Son. Constantly. "I am crucified, dead to the old me. I’m dead to sickness and disease. I am dead to the old demented me. I am dead to the me that can’t. I’m resurrected to the me that can, IN CHRIST!" Say it to yourself, out loud. In other words, labor to enter into rest. Hebrews 4:11 "Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief."

Key of David. Part 2

Confession and How to Use It.

How to Use Confession.

Here is an example of how to use a confession: meditate and pray in the spirit in an unknown tongue, if you have that ability, meditate on the Lord and start a confession or profession according to a leading from the Holy Ghost. It will just come to you.

As an example in my own life: All of a sudden I saw myself in front of Pilate, hearing him say, "I find no fault in Him." It’s as if what he said over Jesus, he’s saying over me. As the example continues, I meditate on where Jesus was when He began to pay the price and I know I was there with Him. So anything that happened to Him, there, happened to me. When He was fasting 40 days, I was fasting 40 days, with Him. When He spoke to the devil, HE said everything that needed to be said as far as I/we are concerned.

Conversations With the Devil.

Nobody in their right mind is going to go into a court of law and try to be their own attorney. JESUS IS YOUR ATTORNEY. HE did your speaking for you.

We have all kinds of Christians having conversations with the devil. "Now devil, you know…I’m telling you…you’re not going to…and I’m going to do this to you and that to you." Hey! It’s already done in the Son…blessed in Christ. See that the enemy IS bound and he’ll be bound. The way to bind the enemy is to count him bound, in Christ. That’s how you turn the key. Say things like, "My enemy IS bound, in Christ. I’m dead to trying to bind him. I’m resurrected to him being bound." I just showed you how to turn a key to the kingdom.

Turning the Key.

In the past I’ve said, "I bind you," thousands of times to the devil and he just kept coming back. I questioned what was happening, I asked, "What’s wrong with this Lord? This is supposed to work. How come it works and as soon as I turn my head, he’s right back there again?"

Basically, because I was not doing it right. Now I do it correctly and it works. He’s gone. Do you see what I mean? Even though you say, "Devil, I’m going to wear you down. I’m going to defeat you," you must realize and know that he is defeated. He has already been defeated!

Conversing With The Devil?

Should you have a conversation with the devil?

Look at this; in Ephesians, Chapter 2. We’re also going to go over to Isaiah, but lets take a look at the key.

Key Teaching.

The Spirit That Now Worketh.

Quickened in trespasses and sins.

Ephesians 2:1, "And you hath he quickened,… (say, "I’m quickened") "who were dead in trespasses and sins… (see, we were, but not anymore); "Wherein in time past ye walked according to course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air… (he’s talking in past tense, he’s saying, "Look, put that behind you now"), "the spirit that now worketh in the children disobedience…"

Disobedience.

Disobedience to what? To the gospel, saying, "No, I won’t take Jesus as my Savior." Do you take Jesus as your Savior? Yes! Then say, "I am obedient in Christ." The spirit that NOW worketh. Where? In You!!

When you are disobedient to the work of Christ, not taking the work where it goes, the spirit worketh. The spirit of the enemy will work.

If You Stay Dead, What Can He Do To You?

Die Once.

But if you stay dead, what is he going to do to you? What? If you’re already dead, how is he going to make you dead? If he gets on you and bugs you, just say to yourself: "Well, what more can he do; I’m dead." Don’t even address him, address yourself. Talk to yourself. Then just continue and say, "I am delivered from him, I’m seated with Christ." Look, it says here, "children of disobedience among whom we also had…" What? "had my conversation in time past."

Conversation with Jesus.

I do not have any conversations with the devil any more because I am obeying the Gospel. So I’m not going to have a conversation with him anymore. It says that’s what I did, "in time past." My communion now is with Jesus. I haven’t got time to talk to the devil. I’m busy getting edified and if God wants to pop a word out of my mouth toward him, I’ll be trained, in the spirit, so much that it just comes out like a translation/interpretation.

The Secret Place.

In the Secret Place?

I’m not even thinking about it. I’m just walking in the secret place. Look…if it’s a secret place, does that mean the devil is the only one who knows, other than you and God?

If you’re in a secret place, then what’s the devil doing there? Let’s hear that one again, if you’re in a secret place, then how did he find you? He walks about seeking… You must have gotten out of the secret place. If he was walking about seeking whom, he what?… may devour. Not who he can devour.

Where Jesus Abides.

Continuing with Ephesians 2:3, "Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others."

Go down to verse 6 and convince yourself that you’re in heavenly places. "And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus." Where is Jesus? Look over at Ephesians 1:20, again, that’s where Jesus is: " Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places." Read it for yourself. Where is that? Verse 21, "Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come."

Get Positioned.

Hid in Christ.

So, if you’re getting oppressed then that means you need to get positioned. You’re out of position and you need to move into position. And that means not addressing that which is oppressing, but addressing yourself, because you are the one out of position. Say to yourself, "I’m hid in Christ." Or, "I’m seated with him in heavenly places." Where is that? Above principalities. Does that include the devil?

Far Above Principalities.

Now when God says FAR, he doesn’t mean from here to the other side of the world. You know how big the universe is, right? So when God is saying you are far above the devil, you are FAR above the devil. So far he can’t see you. When God says far, he means far. As high as what? The heavens are above the earth.

The Key of the House of David.

The Cross on His Shoulder.

Now take a look at this verse again, looking at it with the thought in mind that prophetically Jesus is spoken of in Isaiah 22:22, "And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open," as having the cross on His shoulder. The key of the house of David laid on His shoulder? The only thing that was laid on Christ’s shoulder was what? A cross. So the key of the house of David laid upon His shoulder is THE cross.

The key of the house of David is the one spoken of in Revelation 3:7, "…These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth."

Binding and Loosing.

We need to continue studying this. We have the key of David. Look at Matthew 16:19,"And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven:"

You can say keys because everybody gets one; or you can say key because there only is one. Let’s continue, "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

And what is that key? The Cross. So you bind and loose with the key (the work of the cross). Why? Look at what it says in this verse: "…and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

With Christ in Heavenly Places.

So when I say, "I’m dead (in the work of the cross) to sickness," it’s being bound, because it is bound in heaven. Where? In Christ. Christ is in heaven, isn’t He? He already did the work and He’s sitting down, so with the key, the work of Christ – symbolized by the cross – with that key, the work of Christ, I say I am dead with Him to Satan. When I do that, I’m locking that door and what I’m binding on earth, with the work of the cross, what is bound in Heaven because Jesus is in Heaven and Satan’s bound, in Jesus.

He first bound the strongman. If HE bound the strongman, why are we trying to bind the strongman? Because we are trying to do something that has been done and as soon as the church begins to recognize it as done, then Satan will be BOUND. He won’t be able to move. He’s only moving because we (the church) keep looking at him and saying, "‘I bind you, I bind you." He says, "Oh, you don’t think I’m bound? Okay, then I’ll operate in your life."

Binding Satan?

Try to find in the Word where the Word says anywhere to bind Satan. Find me one scripture that says, "bind Satan." Show me where it says, "You believers, go and bind him." You won’t find one. The way to bind him is to count him bound, in Christ, with the work of the cross.

Where? He descended into hell and spoiled (past tense) stripped, principalities and powers. Hebrews 2:14, tells us, "he destroyed him who had the power of death". John 3:8 says, "For this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil."

So – he and his works are finished, in Christ. When Jesus said, "It is finished," in John 19:30, He didn’t say, "But now you go finish it; now you go clean it up. I didn’t quite get it done, you clean up the mess."

Sitting Down.

He expects you to get busy, but do whatever you are doing from a seated position (spiritually speaking).

For example, I’m standing here before you, but I’m sitting at the same time, in the spiritual sense, allowing the Holy Spirit to use me. Look, I could preach, in me; then I’d be standing in the natural and standing spiritually. There is a fine line between allowing the Holy Spirit to use you and trying to do it yourself. You can do nothing of yourself. The Holy Spirit will show you the difference.

I’ve been using this - it works. I’ve been doing this for over thirty years. That’s the first thing I found that works. The Work of Christ works. The Work of Christ did it all. He made me sit down. He made me free. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus.

So, now you know you have the key. Say to yourself, out loud, "I have the key. I have the key to the Kingdom of Heaven - the Work of Christ."

It’s not cheap. Your deliverance was not cheap - to lock out evil, to lock out the fall; to lock in the resurrection life, to lock in heavenly places – all the blessings that are in the heavenly places. He’s blessed you with all spiritual blessings - where? In Heavenly places. The ransom that was paid was GREAT. So you’d better stay in Heavenly places or you are not going to get the spiritual blessings from that position.

Take Up Your Key (Cross).

Where I Am…

I’ve got another one for you. "So that where I am ye may be also." Take up your cross and follow me - Take up your key. Open the Kingdom and follow Jesus into it. I said, follow Jesus into the Kingdom.

People say, "I’ll follow Jesus. I’m going over here to the mall. I’m following Jesus." No, go to heavenly places and sit down at the right hand of God, the Father, then you’re following Jesus. Take the key, the cross, and open the door to the Kingdom by saying, "I’m crucified, dead; I can do nothing of myself. I descended into hell, with Jesus, and Satan’s power is stripped, in Jesus. He stripped it. Stripped it clean. Not only that, after He stripped him, He resurrected me away from him. Praise God."

Seated in Heavenly Places.

As we continue our confession, "I’m resurrected into another kingdom. I’m ascended into heavenly places. I’m dead to the devil and his kingdom. I’m resurrected to God in His kingdom. I bind this (name it); I loose that (name it). I shut that (name it); I open that (name it). In the Greek, the word for key is "kleis". So this is the key that shuts and opens. Jesus shut out the devil and He opened up the Kingdom for you. And you lock your works into that work; it will work in your life.

Say, "I am dead to poverty, I am resurrected to prosperity." Maintain your position. Now I’m not saying I am a prosperity teacher, I am a Jesus teacher. I am teaching Christ crucified, risen from the dead; but you know what? He was raised so that I might become rich. Now I’m not going to seek riches. You know why? Because they seek me. I don’t need to seek riches. I have everything in Christ. You get to a position where you’re sitting down concerning a thing and watching like a magnet and blessing chase you. Oh, you’re giving this to me? Oh, that’s right, I’m a blessing magnet. Praise God!!! You mean you want to help? Oh yeah, I’m a blessing magnet. You mean you like me? Oh yeah, I have favor with God and man.

Maintain your position; don’t be surprised. If you’re into confessing who you are, in Christ, and what’s been done for you, in HIM, you’re not going to be surprised. You’ll just say, "Oh, there you go. That’s the way it’s supposed to be."

Type of Christ.

Turn with me to Isaiah 22:21. Isaiah is speaking to Eliakim and he is a metaphor, a typology of Christ here. I want you to see that - in the spirit. "And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah." We’re talking about the heavenly places, we’re talking about Christ.

And it goes on, verse 22, "And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open." So you see it, right there? "Will I lay upon his shoulder," if that’s not the cross, what is it?

The Work of Christ.

The cross symbolizes the work of Christ. Do you think He just came to preach? No, He came to give His life; a ransom. Look, it says, "I’ll lay it on his shoulder, so shall he open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open"…the key to bind and loose. Now, the words "bind and loose" throws people off because they think that means throw chains around somebody or something. Well it could be that, but what it’s really saying is "locking out" or "locking doors". Read Matthew 16:19, "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." It’s the same key.

The Master Key.

Now go with me to Revelation 3:7, one more time, and you’re going to be more confident to use the master key. The work of Christ is the master key to your confession, which is your key to bind and loose (to lock and unlock). Unlock blessing; lock out curses. Say this aloud, "I’m dead to the curse, I’m dead to any curse, I’m dead to the ill wishes of others, in Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ, I am successful, I can do all things, through Christ who strengthens me in His resurrection power. Amen." Thank HIM for it.

The Key of the Beloved.

In Revelation 3:7, Jesus is confirming He’s been given the key of the beloved. The key of David is the key of the beloved. Are you his beloved? Yes. This is your key - the key of David means the key of God’s beloved. That’s what the word David means, beloved of God.

"And unto the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth." Didn’t you just read that in Isaiah? Jesus said in Matthew 16:19, "I’ll give you the key and whatever you bind will be bound in heaven." It meant, in Him. When it says when you bind here, it’s bound there; He’s talking about His work. He’s seated there, so when you say it’s bound here, it’s bound there, because in Him it’s bound in that Heavenly Place, in that highest position of authority.

It is bound, how? It is bound in the death of Christ, the curse is reversed. Don’t try to figure it out intellectually. Some of you are saying, "Huh, what?" As you meditate on these scriptures, just let it come to you. You will get the complete revelation of this teaching.

Show God Your Thankfulness.

Thank the Lord, right now, that you are free. Here is a good confession for you, "I’m free in Christ. I’m delivered from oppression. I’m delivered from the devil, in Jesus Christ. I’m dead to trying to stop him. I’m resurrected to his being stopped. I’m dead to trying to bind him. I’m descended, in Christ, to him being bound. In Christ he’s bound and I’m in Christ. In Christ he’s bound and I decide to abide. I’m taking my hands off it and I’m going to abide in Christ."

So now when you say to somebody, ‘be loosed’ and you’re in position; that word will work. But if you’re out of position, you’re going to have to yell and shout and scream. Stay in position, decide to abide in the work of the cross (the key).
