Today is 15th of June 2008. Today i learned about serving other as Jesus served others. Jesus said," Fir even the Son of Man did not come to be served , but to serve and to give life as ransom for many" Mark 10:45. The royal law in the scriputures is Love. Love is called "Royal Law" because it is the supreme law that is the source of all the laws governing human relationship..as Jesus Said,"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." this is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it:"Love your neighbour as yourself." all the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments__Matt. 22:37-41. We can also see in Icorr. 13, that what ever we do but we don't have love, nothing does us no good. But before we love our neighbour we should learn to love ourself then only we can love our neighbour ourself. And then we should understand who is our neighbour?. Sharing is also a very important part of love, As Jesus Shared his body and blood with us, He shares the will of God with us. He shared blessing of God for us.
i will sum up this with a little story
Early one chilly winter morning in London during the second world war a soldier was making his way to the barrack and spotted a lad with his nose pressed against the window of a baker's shop. Inside the baker was kneading dough for a freshy supply of doughnuts. the hungry boy stared in silence watching every move The soldier walked over the shop adn stood at the side of the little boy.
Through the steamed-up window he could see the mouth-watering items that were being ulled from the oven. They watched as the baker put them in a glass enclosed counter.
The soldier's heart went out to the little boy. He said, 'Son, would u like some of those doughnuts?" He said," yes, I would"
The soldier stepped inside the shop, bought a few of the doughnuts and walked back to wher the lad was.
He smiled as he held our the bad and said simply," They are yours". He walked away but he hadn't got far when he felt a tug at his coat. He looked down and heard the child ask quietly, " MISTER, ARE YOU JESUS?"
We are never more like Jesus that when we give ourselves to others. It's the law by which everyone of us should live
God Bless
