John 3:16

"For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

My word! Who could do a series on the greatest Bible verses ever and not mention John 3:16? I mean, seriously, this verse is the foundation of our faith- the belief that Jesus Christ is indeed God's only son and that he died on a cross for our sins that we might have life everlasting! Not eternal damnation- eternal salvation through Jesus Christ! How amazing is our God that He would send Himself down to this filfthy, rotten, sinful earth in order to save common men from the bondage of sin! Why did he do this? Not out of obligation. He didn't owe us a dime. Not out of pity. Not on a whim. He did it out of love- pure, uncensored, agape love. God told us all throughout His word via the prophets that one day, a Messiah would come- fully man, yet fully God. Well, friends, He did come. And He is stll right here waiting to work wonders in your life. For many of you, He has already washed away your sins. Call one Him once more and see what the Lord Jesus Christ can do for you.
