Like Noah, we can be perfect in our generation.
We can -
...remain undefiled if we will simply pursue holiness in all that we say and do
...be without blemish if we will fill our hearts and minds with God's Word.
...be upright if we keep ourselves in the love of Jesus.
Genesis 6:9 says - "...Noah was...perfect in his generations..."
That word perfect means "undefiled, without blemish, and upright." So, in other words, we can say that Noah was undefiled…

"Those that have the brightest sun-shine of outward prosperity must yet expect some moments of darkness. They are sometimes crossed, sometimes at a loss, sometimes melancholy. "In worshipping God we must lift up our souls to Him. Prayer is the ascent of the soul to God; God must be eyed and the soul employed. Sursum corda - Up with you hearts, was anciently used as a call to devotion. With a holy contempt of the world and the things of it, by a fixed thought and active faith, we must set God before us, and let out our desires towards Him as the fountain of our happiness."
"He who is content with the husks will be reckoned with the swine. If we suck our…

This message is prophetic. It applies to all those who has been going through a time of great barrenness in their spiritual walk with the Lord or in their ministry.
For the longest time, you may have felt the chastening hand of the Lord - stripping away at your life - so to speak - causing great self-judgment and examination. At times, things - that have happened - did not make any sense whatsoever. You have cried out unceasingly for answers from the Lord.
It seems as…

"He (God) takes the meaning of our tears, The language of our groans." - Charles Spurgeon
In praying, words may be sincere and truthful, yet they may not be able to express the full meaning of the supplicant. That is when the soul reaches out to a language that is unutterable - consisting of unuttered groanings, voiceless moanings, silent musings, and inward mournings. These are expressions that are more than the one praying can express or explain in ordinary language. They are the…
