A real picture of the false from the truth.

Who you follow has an impact on those watching you.

A follower of Christ is a leader to God the Father and eternal life.

A follower of the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life leads to destruction and hell.

This is a hard truth for many to bear but is true nonetheless.

If we say we love our children, grandchildren, family and friends but lead them down the wrong path, we are leading them to death that is torment forever.

Love is an overrated word…

The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.

Isaiah 26:7

To "weigh" the path means to make it smooth or level. At times it doesn't seem smooth and easy to do God's will, but we are never alone when we face tough times. God is there to help us through difficulties, to comfort us, and to lead us. He does this by giving us…

JOY

Pay close attention to the word "joy" in this verse. Jesus...who for the joy...endured the cross. Despite all Christ faced in dying on the cross, for the joy that was set before him...what joy? The joy of knowing who God is and being obedient all the way to the cross, the grave, the resurrection and now sits at the right hand of the throne of God.

We as Christians also have joy in knowing that God is with us despite any hardships we face. Just as Jesus knew His Father…

That was before I met Jesus.

I recall who I was before I gave my life to Jesus.

I know what I did and how I lived before I made the decision to trust Jesus.

I am not proud of the mistakes I made but so grateful God remembers them no more. My sins are gone because the blood of Jesus washed me clean.

I never want to go back.

I ever strive daily to move forward with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

This new life I live is greater than I could imagine. …

What are we afraid of?

Does anyone remember that feeling of total freedom?  

Remember the wonder of the world around us in all of God's creation?

What about running against the wind?

Or tasting the rain on your tongue?

And even falling down in the deep snow?

I remember it all well.  The feeling of the sun on my face.  Lightning bugs in the night.  The cool breeze in your window as you slept.  I miss those days.
