Some e-mails are junk...some are funny, some uplift and offer encouragement. Although this particular e-mail I received today is not necessarily overtly Christian with it's words, I believe most of the statements reflect biblical truths and are valid points to consider...it made me think and reminded me to be grateful to God for all the blessings He bestows, even those disguised as painful experiences. Perhaps you've read this before, I think I have, but it never hurts to be reminded of these…

The night is dark and growing darker. This is why you must not go alone. This is why you have need to stand together, to pray together, to encourage each other and to be in communication with those like-minded. you need to be in contact with as many as possible of these, My 'peculiar people'. Think not that you are overextending yourself. You have not even begun to enter into what I have for you by way of associations and Holy Spirit fellowship.
Be not hindered. You are being held by…

"The Midnight Cry"
The time is very near when Jesus will step out on a cloud to call His children...and we'll be going HOME! Please watch this video. It's TRUTH. This is the incredible Michael English and the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. I, too, sing this song. Michael English is my role model for it, and my longing for that soon-coming "Cry" is my…

My child, look deeply within your heart, and much will be revealed. You are dull of hearing, having heard so much. I have other ways of dealing. Many things will become clear to you as you look into your innermost being. It is a storehouse of wisdom. Fear it not, for it is a deep pool of divine life because I Myself reside there.
I will teach you in symbols as you learn to see in the Spirit. You shall discover many treasures that have been stored and forgotten and lie waiting to be…

"The spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life."
In my last blog I noted how God was the fundamental creator of all. As you can well infer, you are most certainly included in the mix! If you ever lose your way in life, remember where you came from. The Lord knit you in your mother's womb; he breathed the breath of life into your nostrils. What an awesome feeling to know that the Lord of All Himself hand-crafted you to perfection, regardless if you or the…

Today I read an interesting article about sunken treasure, remnants of a shipwreck, recently discovered off the coast of Africa. The coins, copper, ivory tusks and pieces of the shipwreck are over 500 years old.
Archaeologist, Dieter Noli, who is studying some fragments of the ship as well, noted that evidence of lead patching strips show the ship was old when it went down. The wood that the ship was constructed of was worm eaten and weakened and as well. Because of the poor…

College is a scary, terrifying, and wonderful place. I thank God for allowing me to go back to college. To be what he blessed my talents to be. College is exciting, challenging, competitive, and wonderous all at the same time. I pray that i can get through each day with God. As i struggle with learning new things. I pray for God to allow me to understand all the updated material. I also pray that i can get through to some of the kids and at 18- 20 they are kids to me. That drinking, drunks, sex…

Things are always changing. Sometimes it is fun and exciting, but sometimes it is painful and maybe a little scary. My life is going through some major changes right now.. I'm not sure what the future holds but I know that God is leading and that He has a purpose. If I take my eyes off of Him my circumstances look daunting, but with my eyes securely set on Him it is easy, just to allow the Wind to blow me where it will. But I am afraid, this is the first time I've had so much to "lose?". In the…

I got this in an e-mail today, it really gave me a boost...a nice way to start my day...
Are you a Kept woman?
You see, there were a few times when I thought I would lose my mind,
but GOD kept me sane. (Isa. 26:3)
There were times when I thought I could go no longer,
but the LORD kept me moving. (Gen 28:15)
At times, I've wanted to lash out at those whom I felt had done me wrong,
but the LORD kept my mouth shut. (Psa.…

Infertility - 1 Year on
I sit here at the foot of the Cross crying out to God
Lord, You see the hurt and the pain of watching friends and family getting pregnant and having children
Being pleased for them, congratulating them but wondering when I'll be among them
Lord, You see the look in Malcolm's eyes when he holds a child in his arms
You know how we would love and care for any child we are blessed with
We will feed them, clothe them and provide all they…

Father God, release in every believer the confidence to live outside of themselves. To live as you live in everyone of us. Set out hearts on fire with blazing passion to spread the Truth to every nation and every tongue. Make yourself known to this generation with signs and wonders and awesome deeds. May our whole heart be fully convinced in the life that you led. May we follow in your steps even to death. Amen.

You are born helpless and needy, being totally dependent on nurturance from others. In fact, God has created you with a deep need that can never be satisfied until you turn to Him. One of His Names is El Shaddai, which means: God, the All-Sufficient One.
The Lord woke me up today with a jolt. Regardless of how well you know the Word and want to obey it, it’s not always easy to follow through, isn’t it? What do you do when the rent is due and you have nothing coming in, or when your…

This morning I would like to share with each one of you, firsthand experience of a miracle to me!!
As a single mom, with only a small income, we have to plan well ahead (if you can plan ahead with a small income). On Sunday I told the children that we can only attend one service due to the fact that I know that my car is nearly empty.
Our church is having prayer meetings in the waiting time for ascension day and pentecost ahead. We couldn't attend one of these meetings yet, well…

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."
What a way to start off a series about the most powerful verses in the Bible, huh? We sure didn't have to look very far! I am not posting these verses in any semblance of order; I just found it appropriate to start at the beginning. This verse is very dear to me because it debunks several major theological and scientific questions right off the bat. Since we believe the Bible to be God's perfect word and His absolute truth, we…

Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on his radio program, 'The Rest of the Story,' and received a larger response to this program than any other he has ever aired. With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and wholeheartedly become our desire so that we again can be called 'One nation under God.'
'If you don't stand for something, you will fall for everything.'
One Nation Under God

In this scripture, Luke tells us of a woman who had been crippled for 18 years. Satan had been keeping her in “bondage” and because of this, she had been unable to stand up straight. But Jesus freed her… He healed her.Bible Reading
Perhaps this woman had held on to deep resentment and bitterness towards someone for a long, long time. Satan could have been telling her over the years that she should not forgive someone that hurt her. He could have told her that she was fully justified…
