Yesterday my Minister spoke to me about the sermon I missed in Church. I was so intrigued about what she was saying, she was kind enough to share her words with me via e-mail. Financial Frenzy

The financial news of the past few days has not been positive for many. Large Companies being absorbed by others; Brokerage houses Bankrupt; Insurance Company receiving an 85 Billion Dollar Government infusion of cash; Housing Markets in disarray and being essentially taken over by the Government; etc. Someone either wisely or caustically asked: Who’s Going To Bail Out The Government?

In every teardrop, God's rainbow of promise shines through.

He holds our tears in a bottle,

Women and Their Roles in Church

I have been stuggling for sometime with the role of women in God's Church. And would appreciate others thoughts on this subject.

I come from a bacground where women were indirectly forbidden from holding leadership roles. Sunday school teaching of 4th grade and below, social women's ministiries, etc. was all. Struggling with Thoughts on a Bible Passage - Mark 4:35-41

Mark 4:35-41

“And other little boats were also with Him.”

As I was reading this passage, the pharase “And other little boats were also with Him.” Jumped out at me. As soon as I finished my devotion I had to write these thoughts down.
