Imagine if Jesus wasn’t obedient, if He wasn’t loving, if He wasn’t willing. Imagine if Jesus was inconsiderate, if He was intolerant, if He was self-serving, if He was self-centered. Imagine if Jesus wasn’t available to the sick, didn’t pray for the sheep, was too good to socialize, if He thought He knew all that there was to know independent of God. Imagine if Jesus was in a clique and would never stray outside of His circle of friends, if He…

GOING DOWN THE TWO TRACKS OF LIFE
We are traveling down two tracks like a train throughout our life. The one track is the track of hardship. There is just no way to avoid those hard times that we all face like loosing loved ones to death, broken marriages, financial set backs, illness, etc.
We also are also traveling down a track of peace, joy, and victory through Jesus Christ.
In the following verses… Continue

Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me" (Jonah 1:2).
"Behold the day cometh that shall burn as a oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be as stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch" (Malachi 4:1).
"The whole world lieth in wickedness" (1 John 5:19).
What does God have to say about the…

A little girl walked to and from school daily.
Though the weather that morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to the elementary school.
As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with lightning.
The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school and she feared the electrical storm might harm her child.
Full of concern, the mother quickly got into…

A minister was completing a temperance sermon.
With great emphasis he said, 'If I had all the
beer in the world, I'd take it and pour
it into the river.'
With even greater emphasis he said, 'And if I
had All the wine in the world, I'd take
it and pour it into the river.'
And then finally, shaking his fist in the air, he
said, 'And if I had all the whiskey in
the world, I'd take it and pour it into
the river.'
Sermon…

Wow...its been a long, long time since I have been online. Although I never signed out. Online but nobody home. Yikes. If you follow my blog, you know I wrestled with the spirit of discouragement last month and by His grace, your notes, words of encouragement and prayers I was empowered to move forward and leave that little demon behind. I really enjoy this site (my favorite actually) and reading the discussions - the members here are passionate about their relationship with God and it comes…

Do you know that everything you do is an act of worship as long as it's in line with the will of God? I never really thought about it this way before, but Pastor John Hagee gave a televised sermon today that got me to thinking about this. He said that his wife had a revelation one day while at the kitchen sink, washing dishes. He said tears rolled down his wife's face as she stood there thinking about all the blessings in her life and realizing that that very moment, as insignificant as it…

This Saturday morning we about fifty visitors for the FGBMFI breakfast a very interesting place - in amongst drug dealers, those just out of prison, those on methadone, the sick, the poor.
Most who come regularly are now saved. Those who keep coming hear the word and grow, we have seen our guests have families get back together, re-entering the workforce, healings, being taken off the street and given places to stay, faces turned from darkness to light and many more signs the can only come…

What I have done.
The Bible tells us that Jesus is the door, and no man enters except threw, and by Him. He is the one that opens the door and who then shuts the Door, Christ. When the door is shut, what manner of man can open it? No one can, for only Jesus has the power to open a shut door.
We are not saved by our works but only by grace, threw faith. What I have done cannot open a shut door. Many enjoy a good Christian singer, sometimes they bring about inspiration and…

From My Perspective - - -
Obfuscation is defined by The American Heritage Dictionary as: “To make so confused or opaque as to be difficult to perceive or understand…To render indistinct or dim; darken…” In a caustic sense, it is tempting to allow that as a better description of the Houses of Congress – the Houses of Obfuscation. Few of our circumlocutious politicians can give a simple cogent response to a direct question. They all have their “spin” and/or “talking-points” so well… Continue

JESUS CHRIST is the only way to heaven; the only thing you need to do is to accept HIM as your SAVIOR and your GOD and be HIS servant..

WHAT ARE WE FILLING OUR MINDS WITH?
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
( Philippians 4:8 KJV )
In this Scripture Paul gives us an outline on what we should be filling…

For our light Affliction.
This life is full of fear and problems. Many people around the world are eager to hear the Gospel,of Jesus Christ, preached. They are seeking after God, they are seeking after salvation, and many do not know where to find it. The Gospel must be preached, even tho many are threatened with prison and loss of their property. Many are and will continue to suffer for the sake of preaching, this we all must endure, for salvation is Gods will for all mankind. God…

Devotional of the week
Why do people brag? People brag when they are not humble, very selfish and only think of and love themselves. We like to brag about a lot of stuff, like new clothes (for girls) and a brand new model airplane or dirtbikes (for boys).
But when you brag, you sin. When you sin, God is sad. But when we boast about God, He likes that.
Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others. (1 Corinthians…

Something a little light-hearted, but I'm sure there are some lessons we can learn from it...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ONE day Henny-penny was picking up corn in the cornyard when--whack!-- something hit her upon the head.
'Goodness gracious me!' said Henny-penny; 'the sky's a-going to fall; I must go and tell the king.'
So she went along and she went along and she went along till she met Cocky-locky. 'Where are you going,…
It says in the bible that those who believe and accept Christ as their saviour are reborn again by the Spirit. And all those are children of God. And they are Christs.
My point is that Being Christs' mean to be for his glory and not mine(or the believer). But we, I for example if I can speak for myself, I am entangled by my worldly needs. I search for jobs, opportunities and also I desire to be with my family again.
But in reality, Christian reality, this kind of thing should not…
(In our Jesus Discovery Group, we are currently discussing "Grace and Truth" [John 1:14-18]. "[Jesus] came from the Father, full of grace and truth." The OT equivalent is "Mercy and Truth", so I thought I'd share these blog posts which I posted in August 07.)
Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart,
And so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man. (3:3-4,… Continue
Bang, Bang,Your Dead.
Zechariah 14:1-14:12 Preaching the Gospel is an exciting adventure into the past, present and future. Many believe that humanity will continue at its present rate and eventually come together in peace and love. I’m sorry to say that this is just another lie from the father of all lies, Satan. Man is destined to die, no matter what, age, race, color, weather they be rich or poor.
Death will not be denighed. As a…
HE IS WORTHY
Have we seen his worth yet?
There is a story in the Gospels about a women who saw the worth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
“While He was in Bethany at the home of Simon the leper, and reclining at the table, there came a woman with an alabaster vial of very costly perfume of pure nard; and she broke the vial and poured it over His head.
But some were indignantly remarking to one another, “Why…
