Introduction
We live in a time when credit cards allow us to own what we can't afford, go where we wouldn't be able to go, and do what would otherwise be impossible for us. Then we begin…

SOMETHING I FOUND AND WOULD LIKE TOO SHARE
Heavenly Mindset
1If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Colossians 3:1-4 NKJV
One of the challenges of living as the person God created…

I Hope My Daughter Hears the President’s Speech
September 6, 2009 | By: John Piper | Category: Commentary
I am stunned at the outcry against the President of the United States speaking to the youth of this nation about the importance of education.
I am embarrassed by the governor of my home state saying, that the president’s plan to address them is “disruptive . . . uninvited . . . and number three . . . I don’t…

My husband and I learned last Wednesday that he will require back surgery on his lower back. The bones are trying to grow together and are squishing his disc in his back. He hasn't worked full time since January and is now told that he should not work at all. I work, but with out his income there wont be enough money. I know that my God will provide and that he will provide for us. The devil is really fighting me. We have no medical insurance or help. God sent us to the Good Samaritan Clinic…

For the past few weeks it has been hard. Seems like the devil is really playing on my heart. My emotional roller coaster has been having its ups and downs. But yet I am still keeping my prayers strong and trying to keep my focus of getting close to God. My relationship is going down south and not doing good. I have been told he is starting to hate me. He do not look at me, holding me. I have been there for this person from day one and have poured my all in to trying to make things work. My…

REPENTANCE, SEPARATING THE PRECIOUS FROM THE VILE
By Lahry Sibley
I've said for a long time now, repentance must come before revival. Modern church is all about men, the self appointed "go between" God and man. My Bible says my Jesus is the Head of His Church.
Church is not something we attend on Sunday (which in and of itself is an abomination to God and contrary to His Commandment that begins with "Remember"), but a life we live together, moment by moment, being anxious…

THE NECKLACE
A cheerful heart is a good medicine,
but a downcast spirit dries up your bones.
Proverbs 17:22
LOVE, LIVE AND LAUGH OUT LOUD!!
YOUR HEALTH IS YOUR WEALTH!!
The cheerful little girl with bouncy golden curls was almost five. Waiting with her mother at the checkout stand, she saw them, a circle of glistening white pearls in a pink foil box.
'Oh…

first i must let everyone know that this Pastor is not me,but i found this n would like to share it may GOD USE IT FOR HIS GLORY
The trial of Pastor Jones
Judge: Mr. Jones you have been charged with multiple counts of extortion. Your crime spree covers 20 years and thousands of victims. You have defrauded people out of their money with fear and manipulation, telling them they had to tithe 10% of their income to your church and that God would bless them if they did. You also told…

1 John 3:16-18 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
Here in Israel we have an interesting…

This is really pathetic: This is simply a case of people not wanting to acknowledge our God, and their need for His Salvation:
Three churches in Phoenix have brought a legal action against the city because one pastor already has been convicted and other churches are being threatened over the "noise" from their bells, some of which have rung out to the community for decades.
The lawsuit has been filed by the Alliance Defense Fund on behalf of St. Mark Roman Catholic Parish,…

I found this on World Net Daily and wanted to share it here. This is how bad it's getting: It's really hard to believe.
A San Diego pastor and his wife claim they were interrogated by a county official and warned they will face escalating fines if they continue to hold Bible studies in their home.
The couple, whose names are being withheld until a demand letter can be filed on their behalf, told their attorney a county government employee knocked on their door on Good…

Ever been in a situation where you know things are happening, or you know that you are doing things but you also know that what is happening is not controlled by you?
I've heard stories of people saying: it was like something or some-one else was pulling the strings. I've always took such tales with a pinch of salt, because as we all know, human nature is to exagerate the facts somewhat. I've never discounted such tales as outright lies, but I always employed a healthy dose of sceptisism…

"Still a saint he must be, one whose vocation it is to be holy, and who strives daily to obey the Divine voice within him saying 'Sin not, sin not, sin not,' or he can have no interest in the Saviour's righteousness." - Biblical Illustrator - New Testament
"Let that be your aim, to 'sin not.' Let it be your fixed purpose, not merely that you are to sin as little as you can, but that you are not to sin at all."
"But not only would I have you to make this your aim, I WOULD…

Job 13: 15, ” Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him….”
I Peter 4: 12, 13, “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.”
James 1: 2, 3, “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of… Continue

Cell Phones vs. Bible I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our Cell phones. What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets? What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it? What if we flipped through it several times a day? What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it? What if we gave it to kids as gifts? What if we used it as we traveled? What if… Continue

Word from God too His People. From Corinthians. 13: 1-8 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my…

"It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in princes." (Psalm 118:8-9, Amp.)
I know I shared these verses before, and that verse 8 is the middle verse in the Bible, but this morning, after mentioning about giants yesterday, my thoughts went back to David and Goliath.…

It isn't easy to get baptized in the desert, especially if you're of the persuasion that believes in being baptized by being immersed in water. Our daughter-in-law grew up in one of those areas without much water, so she got baptized in a horse trough - minus the horse of course. Some Marines in Iraq got baptized in a small brick chapel, in a rubber dinghy filled with water. A young corporal was one of those. He decided to get baptized as his unit was preparing to attack the insurgent…
