A FRIEND OF SOULS
There are hermit souls that live withdrawn
In the peace of their self-content;
There are souls, like stars, that dwell apart
In a fellowless firmament;
There are pioneer souls that blaze their paths
Where highways never ran;
But let me live by the side of the road,
And be a friend to man.
- Samuel Walter Foss’
I want to be a friend of souls. I want to stand by the side of the road, waiting for weary travelers, in places…

We all need to hear from God each day, about many different issues, but there are critical times in our lives when we especially need to know that we are hearing clearly from Him. God wants to speak to us, but we have to be careful that we don’t develop a closed mindset about how He has to speak to us. God has many ways through which He may choose to speak, but whichever way He chooses, he does promise to direct our paths.
It’s not always…

Acts 23.11-35 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/index.php?search=Acts%2023.11-35&version=31&interface=print
Verse 11 - The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, "Take courage!"
As you have testified about Me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome."
vv. 12-35 ~ We left Paul, lying on the stone floor, exhausted, battered, discouraged, and wondering just how long he would be alive, doubtful he would ever make it to his desired destination--Rome.…

My precious Jesus You have always and will always love us & for that
We thank YOU~~~~
Brothers & Sisters remember always the following:
In this world we will all face our own battles, hurts, & tribulations but
Jesus went one step further and faced it all for us by dying on the cross.
It was not the nails that kept Jesus to the cross it was His everlasting love for us which held him to that cross. He did at all for our sake.
In this world you…

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
1 Tim. 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear but of power, and of love and of a sound mind.
We have the power, spirit of love and a sound mind. We have recieve the calling to be witnesses unto Him....but we fall short of witnessing in our day to day life.…

“He who believes in the son has eternal life he who does not obey the son shall not see life, but the wrath of God rests upon him”. John 3:36
As Christians our destiny is Heaven as it is a promise from our father as written in 2peter 3:13.
According to Gods promise what does the Bible highlight on it as in regards to this wonderful place?
1. It tells us that when we get there we shall be like him (Jesus Christ) 1john 3:2. to make us like Christ in character is the thing that God…

THIS is good stuff. . . take a look with me:
In Acts 22.24-31, Paul cleverly establishes that he is a Roman citizen, and he is brought before the Sanhedrin, (the Jewish ruling council) for trial~
Acts 23.1-10 - Paul looked straight at the Sanhedrin and said, "My brothers, I have fulfilled my duty to God in all good conscience to this day." At this the high priest Ananias ordered those standing near Paul to strike him on the mouth. Then Paul said to him, "God will strike you, you…

My family in Christ
The first thing that you must know is that someone who has never been saved can not be a backslider. Only those who gave their lives to God are going through this stage, and be sure to know that you will experience this for the rest of your life!
To become a backslider doesn’t mean that it is the end. Through Jesus Chris our Lord there is always a way if you trust Him enough to help you through it. But be sure to know that God will punish you for your…

The Relationship
You see him for the first time and are absolutely taken aback with his beauty. You feel shy and can’t really talk to him. When he looks at you, you blush and turn away.
As time moves on you get to know him. Oh how you love him. You are in love. He makes you feel good. You can’t wait to hear his voice everyday and can hardly wait to go to his home over the weekend. Neither can he wait to see and talk to you. He likes you a lot and he loved you from the…

Real Healing
by Lahry Sibley
I’ve been a Christian for 40 years or so. I’ve been in lots of churches, various denominations, and listened to some great messages. I’ve also listened to a lot of religion and down right error. No subject has been preached on more than healing, no doubt. Why? Because we have lots of folks that are sick and infirmed. The other is that there is more emphasis put on physical needs than spiritual needs.
I was in…

A message from God
“No man will ever claim you unless he claims you from Me. For I reserved a man for you who has My heart and loves Me even more than he loves you. For I won’t give you unless he asks you form Me. He is asleep; don’t wake him. He is busy for Me... My kingdom. Soon you will know him, but I have the perfect time. You are My princess and My daughter. Let no prince claim you unless he asks you from my hand for I am Your Father and King of kings. You, my princess is worth…

“You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while, ‘He who is coming will come and will not delay’” (Hebrews 10:36–37 NIV).
If you’re discouraged because of God’s delay in answering your prayers, understand the delay is not a denial. Just because the answer or the miracle hasn’t come—yet—that doesn’t mean God isn’t going to answer, or that he’s forgotten you, or that he doesn’t care about you. It…

There is a better way to walk with God.
Mt. 11:28-30
“Come unto Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Most interpret these verses to refer to the good way of salvation and the rest…

The Great White Throne Judgment - Judgement
Revelation 20:11-20:15
The Great White Throne
Revelation 20:11-15
These verses describe the final event of all of human history. God is putting the last period on the last sentence of the last paragraph of the last page. This is the final judgment of all who die lost, never having repented and never having received Christ as their Savior. This is serious, and…

Success in Ministry
By Lahry Sibley
Not long ago we were in a home meeting. We have this one lady in our group who lives alone and has some emotional difficulties dealing with that situation. She arrived at the home meeting in a shambles. One of the other ladies just went right over too her, wrapped her arms around her and just held her close. In just a few minutes, all was so much better.
The meeting was themed around spiritual gifts. I was asked to minister on…

Acts 21.40-22.21 Having received the commander's permission, Paul stood on the steps and motioned to the crowd. When they were all silent, he said to them in Aramaic: 1"Brothers and fathers, listen now to my defense." When they heard him speak to them in Aramaic, they became very quiet. Then Paul said: "I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city. Under Gamaliel I was thoroughly trained in the law of our fathers and was just as zealous for God as any of you are today. I…

I feel note taking in church is so important. It's no different than me sending my children to school and take notes there. It's important for growth. I have a book that is called "Call To Worship Note Takers' Book. It allows me to write and store all my Church notes and Bible Study notes in one book for a whole year. I do this so I can go back and read what was said and also study. A book that is dedicated to church. A lot of people do the same think with this book.
When I look over…
