RAMBLING:CAT ON THE BIBLE
More often than not when I decide to sit down and do paper work guess who comes and lays right on top of the papers? My cats or at least one of them will. This little ceremony is also carried out when I am reading. Dare I without thinking lay down my book, be it a story book or the Bible, one of my "boys" is sure to make himself comfortable on whatever I a reading and its not that easy to dislodge them either. Now this is a sign of love and affection on their part…

THE TEMPTATIONS OF A SANCTIFIED MAN
How can a man that is "dead to sin" be "tempted?" asked an earnest but unsanctified Christian of me some time ago. "If the very tendencies and inclinations to sin be destroyed, what is there in the man to respond to a solicitation to evil?
This is a question which every man will ask sooner or later, and when God showed me the answer, it threw great light on my pathway and helped me to defeat Satan in many a pitched battle.
The…

Dear All,
I have a
Confession to make. I don't know whether am i doing right or wrong , but i am doing.
Past few days i saw the true light of Christ Jesus in my life , i have come in touch with my self. What he has done for me no one ever was able to do it, it would not had been a big thing for many , buts its a miracle for me, and only Christ my Lord can do that.
I was leading a straight simple life with leaps and bonds as we all have , i may have forgot my Lord so…

It is my hearts desire to see our kids connect with God each week in sunday school. We want to empower them to really hear God....even when they are home and doing school.....
We have had the priveledge of attending two churches over the years that we now....at our new location try to imitate.
At http://RiverofLife@kpm.com of Pennsylvania,USA the kids were trained to believe that experiencing God was normal, daily bible reading was normal and hearing God for…

Fruit is something that God always seeks in our lives.
It’s a proof or confirmation of Christ existence that HIS spirit dwells in our lives.
Matthew 7 ;16-20 ~ You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that doesn’t good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by…

His Family & Religious Background
One hundred and twelve years ago on September 1889, Sundar Singh was born to Sher Singh of Rampur, Punjab in northern India. His mother, a deeply religious woman, nurtured him in the noble traditions of the Sikhs. Sundar often spoke of his mother with much love and respect because of the good foundation she laid for his life to come. Little did anyone know what God was about to do with this keenly intelligent and disciplined young man.
He was…

"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. - Proverbs 22:6"
I am always excited to ask my four year old son what activities he did at Hillsong Kid's Church. Sunday by Sunday, he has that prominent expectation and enormous excitement to go. He has developed that sense of connection with other kids, volunteers and leaders at his Sunday school despite the short period of time since we moved here in Sydney only few months ago. How awesome!…

A man dies and meets the gatekeeper at the Pearly Gates. The gatekeeper says to the man, "Here's how it works. You need to have one hundred points to get into heaven. You tell me about all the good things you've done. They are all worth a certain number of points. If your total is one hundred or more, you can come in."
"Well," says the man. "I was happily married to the same woman for 52 years. I never looked at another woman. I was attentive and loved her dearly."
"That's…

DO this. . . DON’T DO this. . . Sex
"Finally, brothers we instructed you how to live in order to please God, as in fact you are living. Now we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and more. For you know what instructions we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus.
It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality, that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in…

Read Matt: 7:1, 12-23 & 28-29
In these scriptures it is teaching us that in our walk with Christ we have to be real. We are not here to make judgement of one another. This journey is what we make it. In order to be able to continue in God's will we must be doers of his word. How can we be doers of his word?, we must read, study and do what the word teaches us.
Love is very important in our walk with Christ. We have to love each other, be kind to one another and also… Continue

RESTORING THE OLD DOORS
THE BRICK CHURCH
I go to a church where our brick building was built about 200 years ago. It is a beautiful building, but has been very costly to keep up. We have 2 double doors on the front of the church that had cracked paint, and were a mess from years of neglect and many layers of old paint.
It has taken hours to strip them down to the wood with this heating… Continue

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
John 7:38
Deep inside each of us, there is a river of life. This river is a wonderful gift given to each of us by God. It refreshes, renews and revitalizes our lives. I'm sure all of us have known people from time to time who defied all logic and stayed alive years longer than they should have. Or you may have known people who have been able to keep a…

In having a say, I was trying to point to something in common that people of all faiths share - the earth! In the history of the earth, it's pretty clear that one name, and one person stands above all others. JESUS; CHRIST;…

women have no minds. They are lower than pigs." In her short autobiography, Ramabai remembered these as the Hindu attitudes that she faced as a young woman around 1880. She became India's first female pundit and refuted such claims. Ramabai was blessed with good parents. Her father, Anant Dongre, a wealthy Hindu guru, believed women have good minds. He had been astonished to overhear an Indian princess recite verses in the Sanskrit language. He made up his mind that when he married, he would…

A CORD OF THREE STRANDS
Finally, when we could stand it no longer, we decided to stay alone in Athens, and we sent Timothy to visit you. He is our brother and God’s co-worker in proclaiming the Good News of Christ. We sent him to strengthen you, to encourage you in your faith, and to keep you from being shaken by the troubles you were going through. But you know that we are destined for such troubles. Even while we were with you, we warned you that troubles would come soon—and they did, as…

I recently visit the internet and I want to find out more about the Bible, I have so many questions to asked I did not know where to begin, I started at Genesis.
I type the word in, into Google and there it appears on my screen, and while I page through it I saw the Web of All about God and I go in and signed me on.
I did not know how it works on that time and the only person on that time was Mark Dias and I even go privately and asked him how it works, I through him with…

17He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. Proverbs 19:17
We are called to help those who are less fortunate, to serve where we see a need, to be His hands and His voice. Yes, this includes the world's poor, but I believe that it also means the poor in spirit. The richest person you know may be the most miserable as well. Happiness has nothing to do with one's bank account; it has everything to do…

HEIGHTENED AWARENESS – The devil and his ways
Yesterday we talked about the schemes of the devil—how his entire purpose is to lie, steal, accuse, and destroy. Without doubt, another way he gets at us is through busyness.
Take a look~
Satan called a worldwide convention. In his opening address to his evil angels, he said, “We can't keep the Christians from going to church. We cannot keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the truth. We cannot even keep them from…
