Copenhagen Contahion

From My Perspective - - -

Does Copenhagen have any other implication beside Global Warming Concerns? Is Global Warming fiction or non-fiction? Are the claims more factual or more mythical? Is Global Warming a pandemic in the making? Contagion usually refers to the spread of infections and disease. One of the possible definitions adds the following: Contagion is “…the ready transmission or spread as of an idea or emotion from person to person.” Can or will this spread into other…

Window Woman and the Scripture

WINDOW WOMAN and SCRIPTURE.

Last Thursday, on my cross-country flight from Newport Beach, California, to New York, on one leg of the trip I had the aisle seat, and wonder of wonders, the middle seat was open, and then the window seat was filled by a jolly woman. She no sooner sat down than she began prattling about first one thing and then another. So I put my studying away, got out my knitting, and decided to make a new friend of my fellow traveler.

It wasn’t long until… Continue

Change Life And The Words that Lead Us Their

I write this as a letter of meaning something many of you may have never heard of. But words Truley of the heart in a way of the old long forgot. The world has changed much since letters such were wrote, but many things have remained the same. This is out of the up most respect for a friend, a Brother in Christ, a fellow soldier who has gone his own way.

For all of those who may have something negative to say remember this site is a site of Love and Faith and would ask that you… Continue

Brokenness - Part II

Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
. I Thessalonians 5:21-23

Humans are born “bent away” from the Lord. Our natural inclination is to please and serve self, which is the opposite of a lifestyle honoring God. When we become believers, our Father begins to bend… Continue

7 months

nothing has changed since last posting. The horrific silent treatment on and on. There seems to be nothing on hell or earth that will make her open a line of communication.

"Abuse is Abuse. And abuse is never ok. In one way though, the silent treatment is far worse than other forms of abuse, because it indirectly says to you that you are not a person, you are an object, you are invisible because they choose to make you so because you are not worthy of their time. THAT is one of the… Continue

passing on peace

I know many people who get their direction from Fortune Cookies, horoscopes, etc. They have little direction in life. The put stock in the Short Term Health of their body while not realizing that they have a long term eternity to consider.

I want my friends to have the peace in God that I have.… Continue

The Blessing of Brokenness

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. John 12:24

In the above verse, Jesus tells us that only by falling and breaking can a single grain produce a rich crop. If it remains isolated and protected, it will never produce anything.

That’s how the Lord works to mature His children. He breaks us in order to bring spiritual growth and supernatural… Continue

TRUE LOVE

Love is thinking others before you think about yourself.

Love is selfless, not selfish.

Love is God, and God is love.

~ 1 Cor 13 : 4 - 8 ~

Love is kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, proud, or rude.

Love isn't selfish or quick tempered. It doesn't keep a record of wrongs that others do.

Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil.

Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting.

Love never fails!

Do you have greater love… Continue

A LITTLE ONE HAS BECOME A THOUSAND

This message is prophetic. It applies to all those who has been going through a time of great barrenness in their spiritual walk with the Lord or in their ministry.

For the longest time, you may have felt the chastening hand of the Lord - stripping away at your life - so to speak - causing great self-judgment and examination. At times, things - that have happened - did not make any sense whatsoever. You have cried out unceasingly for answers from the Lord.

It seems as… Continue

Everything to Christ in Prayer....

Good day to you, my friend... I am so grateful to share with you how great is our God!!!!

Let us grasp how wide and long and high and deep the love of God is. God's love endures forever (Psalm 118:1). The earth is filled with God's love (Psalm 119:64). His love is even better than life (Psalm 63:3) and surpasses knowledge (Ephesians 3:18).

"Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth,…

New Generation: Train them to be Prayer Warriors...

Proverbs 22:6 Teaching children to pray is a vital part of passing on our faith. Hebrews 4:16 reminds us that Christians can "come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." It's important that our children learn that they can also go to God, our loving Father, who is there to help and strengthen them. He wants them to build a relationship with Him through prayer as well as Bible study. Children learn in many ways. One of the most…

Why Did Jesus Christ Come Into The World ?

THE REFORMED WITNESS HOUR

The Purpose for Jesus' Coming (1) To Call Sinners to Repentance (Luke 5:27-32)

Rev. Carl Haak

You and I must never underestimate man's ability to distort and confuse the most plain words written in the Bible. Surely there is no question more repeatedly and clearly answered in the Bible than this question: Why did Jesus, the Son of God, come into the world? Hundreds of passages directly and clearly give the answer. I Timothy 1:15,… Continue

The Heart Cry

"Is it true the heart doth cry".

"I hope it is" said dry eye.

"I often hear it's desperate plea",

was the response from bended knee.

Again. the mind surprised by this,

"what cause has brought such amiss".

And then the lips said "hold on there, …

Heterodoxy

In the New Testament, Paul once took the Greek word translated "to teach" (didaskalia) and added the word heteros, which means "of a different kind." The English word heterodoxy means something that is the opposite of orthodoxy. The combination of those two Greek words refered to teaching heresy. I know most of you are aware that, not everyone that talks about God is serving Him nor His people's best interests. We have many warnings about deceivers entering the… Continue

Please Forgive me,

Hello again! I am so happy to see how much my brothers and sisters in Lord Jesus love me! I want to be able to reply to everyone that has come to respond to my cry for help. Thank you.

I still feel that heavy feeling that I am not cared for, or that my thoughts have caused God to be away from me....I understand these feelings are not connected to reality....but why do I still feel so strongly?

I decided to do more research, but then I found a sentence that bothered me,… Continue

WITH GROANINGS WHICH CANNOT BE UTTERED

"He (God) takes the meaning of our tears, The language of our groans." - Charles Spurgeon

In praying, words may be sincere and truthful, yet they may not be able to express the full meaning of the supplicant. That is when the soul reaches out to a language that is unutterable - consisting of unuttered groanings, voiceless moanings, silent musings, and inward mournings. These are expressions that are more than the one praying can express or explain in ordinary language. They are the… Continue

God's Word For You Today: Repent!

I stumbled upon The Daily Spurgeon Website today and what I dig is a precious digest of a sermon by Charles H Spurgeon entitled "Apostolic Exhortation." I have quoted in its entirety in order not to miss every single nugget of wisdom from this great man popularly known as the "Prince of Preachers." In a written authobiography, it stated that in his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10 million people often up to 10 times each week at different places.

The digest speaks about… Continue

TAKE METO THE WINE CELLAR...

Your affections are like a flask of the strongest wine, it intoxicates me as I drink of your love. Your presence is heady, like the aroma of myrrh and spices, take me away with you my lover, take me into your chambers and let us take our fill of love till the morning light! Let the King ravish his own, with Kisses of Passion that fill the heart with fire unquenchable. Let this heart “burn” with such a heated passion it threatens to be consume me to ashes and dust, till there is nothing left but… Continue
