THEY THAT SOW IN TEARS SHALL REAP IN JOY.
For every hurt ever dealt to us, every pain inflicted on us and any adversity that threatens to fall upon us we are told by Our Heavenly Father to never be discouraged. From God comes this promise that our tears and sorrows He will turn to Joy. There is no man or anything in this world that can steal the joy that lives in our very hearts and souls. Many will come and attempt to strip us down to the bone but they cannot touch our…

PSALM 125 DEVOTIONAL-SECURITY IN THE LORD
As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about His people from henceforth even for ever.
This is the verse that really spoke to me in this Psalm. What protection, what security we have in knowing that our God is like a mighty mountain range all around us! How small and weak we are in His hand yet we are big and strong because of that hand that holds us and protects us. There is no better security in all the…

Does anyone besides myself remember that old show “The Friendly Giant?” Oh what am I talking about, of course you do, it was only a couple of years ago when I was 19! (ha-ha) For those of you who don’t it was about a very pleasant and soft spoken giant who looked out over the valley from his kingdom. He would reach down into a house and move the furniture around to make it nice and cozy around the fireplace, then he would place the people in nice safe places around the fire. The Friendly Giant…

Dear Brothers and sisters in Christ,
I have received a prayer request today to lift someone in prayer right now who is considering suicide as an easier way out at this very moment.I am withholding names at request as well in order to respect this persons privacy. Can we lift all those who's lives are so in turmoil that this extreme measure that enters their minds and souls seems to be the only answer to their troubles.
Dear Heavenly Father, as we rejoice in Your Holy…

Very recently, I was faced with a situation where right on the spot I had to deal with contempt and the lies of satan. I tried my best to smooth out the situation and get to the root of the problem and I must admit there was a bit of contempt starting to breed in my own heart. I will be quite honest here, personally I like to nip things in the bud before they get out of hand and yes, I can indeed be very quick to cut to the chase. Some folks don’t like that much and I need to be a little more…

Today, I visited God at His house. We had T together, just He and I and wow, I have heard about the comforting affects of Chamomile tea but God has much better T than that. God not only comforted me with that T but He refuelled this child with HIS strength. Now peace is within these walls and within the walls of my soul. All because I went to God’s house and had His very own brand of T. The T that stands for TRUTH!! THANKYOU GOD, and thank you for the LIFETIME SUPPLY!! ALL GLORY TO YOU…

God never promised us that life would be easy but He did promise to never forsake us and walk along beside us each and every day. He is with us through each trial; every temptation and He will always lift us up when we are down. My thought today is, do we approach Him FIRST when we are going through tough times. Oh yes, He places many in our paths to encourage us in our walk with Him and what a blessing that is, but it is ultimately God who will come up with the right answers for us. He…

Today’s devotional is for the most part a request for prayer from a Christian brother in Pakistan. It came at the time I was about to write this devotional.
Dear Heavenly Father, Your Name is Holy and we rejoice in praise and worship of You and You alone. You have commanded that we put no other Gods before You and we humbly approach You this day and ask that you comfort, protect and provide for all who serve You in every nation where persecution and war against us is present. We…

This is kind of a lengthy Psalm so I will try to keep my own words short on this today. No matter how your day is going, God places opportunities in each one of those days to shine His light and walk in His ways even if those ways are looked upon as strange by many. You just never know what taking those opportunities to show the Love of God will do in just one persons life not to mention what it can do for your own relationship with our Heavenly Father. Don’t miss those opportunities and don’t…

While I was reading this particular Psalm I kept getting this vision of that old cartoon (of all things) the Roadrunner(Beep,beep)! Man, that nasty coyote just could not seem to get his paws on that Roadrunner no matter how many times he tried. Reminds me of how the devil just never gives up either and how our Almighty God will ALWAYS come through for us. Each time we are being chased down or facing satans ugly ways of seeking to devour us, the Lord will deliver us and our faith builds and…

His merciful kindness will come through EVERY time! Let nothing discourage us! Let not our hearts
be troubled! For He is the Lord our God and He is with us always!! His Word is truth and it is the
same yesterday, today and tomorrow! He is worthy of our Praise! There is none like Him! AMEN!!
Psalm 117 (King James Version)
1O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
2For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the…

How many times has God lifted us out of our troubles and afflictions? Can you count how many times? I know that I can’t! So many times He has delivered me out of my own afflictions and given me answers to many problems I have faced in life and come up with miracles in the eleventh hour. It is something I like to tell about in hopes that it can bring others faith In God up a notch for His Glory. There have been times when someone I relate those answered prayers to, look at me with doubt written…

Full of honor and majesty in his work,
and his righteousness endures for ever.
He has caused his wonderful works to be remembered;
the Lord is gracious and merciful
He provides food for those who fear him;
he is ever mindful of his covenant.
He has shown his people the power of his works,
in giving them the heritage of the nations.
The works of his hands are faithful and just;
all of his precepts are trustworthy,
they are established for ever and…

To walk through life and touch someone
And shine the light of Christ the Son.
To walk with Me and learn My way
From rising sun to end of day.
Reaching out to all in need
Of prayer, compassion and good deed
To love, to laugh to share and forgive
For all the days that you shall live.
Upon this earth as you travel along
Sing to the world a brand new song.
Planting seeds of hope as you go
That Christ…

Whatever God’s will is in our lives He will see to it that His will be done. No mountain, no barrier, no man can get in the way of His plans for you just as nothing was able to get in the way of delivering His people from Egypt. The whole earth He will move to set His people free just as surely as the Red Sea parted He will make your way straight. It is only us who sometimes get in the way when we allow fear or doubt to set upon our minds and our hearts. We have to learn discipline in order…

I WAS GOING TO POST THESE SCRIPTURES IN A COMMENT ON ANOTHER BLOG WRITTEN HERE BUT IT WAS NOT OPEN TO COMMENTS SO I PRAY THIS HELPS AS THE OPINION OF THE AUTHOR OF THE BLOG IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT AND SHE IS STANDING ON GOD'S WORD AND NOT JUST HOLDING AN OPINION. GOD BLESS YOU ALL THIS DAY OUR LORD HAS GIVEN.
The word “pastors” occurs ONCE in the N.T. in Ephesians 4:11(And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;) and NOT…

While reading this Psalm tonight I thought how fitting of a scripture to read this day. The Lord had placed in my life and given me the opportunity to behold His perfect timing in someone’s life and lift the needy out of the dust and place in their eyes, tears of joy. I watched someone’s faith in God grow from the size of a mustard seed to sprouting a few green leaves and it did a lot for my own faith as well. If the peace and fulfillment I am feeling this night that God has placed around and…

Well, there is not a lot I can think of to say, to be honest, about this Psalm except that two very positive and strong words were spoken to me while I was reading this tonight. FORGE AHEAD!! Oh wait; I was just led to find a few more words! (smiles) There is one verse that did stand out to me in this Psalm though and that is verse 4. To me it seems most vital for us all to be a light that arises in the darkness. Shine that light of Jesus wherever and whenever we can with every opportunity that…

Oh how much our Jesus suffered at the hands of His enemies! He did nothing wrong yet was pummeled,beaten,tortured and nailed to a cross. His enemies hated Him only because they did not believe Him and they felt convicted by His teaching of the TRUTH. Those enemies thought they had won the victory when Christ took His last breath. But lo and behold the earth shook and the curtain was torn from top to bottom and our Lord rose again in three days. VICTORY BELONGS TO THE LORD!! Victory belongs…
