Once upon a time . . . the temple—now vast and varied

Once upon a time, a very long time ago when Moses wrote the Law, the penalty for violating or defiling the temple was death. Leviticus 15.13

Early this morning I was walking down a side street to get to prayer meeting, and I noticed something I had never seen. A common purpose: being a link ~ 1 Corinthians 3.5-9

A COMMON PURPOSE: being a link

Paul diagnosed the immaturity of the Corinthian believers by showing their divisiveness was due to their spiritual immaturity. In this passage he puts the leaders in their rightful place —the servants’ quarters. Only One was due the place of supremacy. Take a look:
