In the old testament the Jews had their own calendars and festivals, etc....when Jesus came he says " Do not think I came to abolish the Laws or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." Matthew 5:17 So does that mean some of the festivals like the feast of unleavened bread except the sacrificial ones, are we still suppose to keep these? What about their calendar because it goes off of the verse "And there was evening and there was morning the first day" Genesis 1:5

We can learn the spirit of excellence from Daniel.
Daniel 5 : 12 ~
For as much as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and showing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will show the interpretation.
Why Daniel has the spirit of excellence ?
Daniel 1 : 8 ~
Daniel made up his mind not to let himself become ritually…

DON'T GIVE UP HOPE
by Kenneth Copeland
http://www.kcm.org/real-help/article/dont-give-hope
Have you ever been in the middle of a faith stand, when suddenly it seemed like your faith just quit working?
Maybe you were believing God for healing, or financial deliverance, or the salvation of your family. Spiritually, everything was in place. You found the scriptures that promised you what…

WORLDWIDE CRISIS in THE CHURCH
-by Andrew Ström.
I only began to truly understand the magnitude of this crisis on my
recent trip to Uganda. I have ministered in Nigeria many times, but
I had always thought Nigeria was a special case - that the awful
poison I saw there had not spread so far in other places. Uganda
opened my eyes. The whole of Africa is being infected. And I mean
on an epidemic scale. An utter destruction of truth, a…

I asked God..
I asked God to do away with my vices
God said no
They are not there for me to take them away. They are there for you to resist them
I asked God to complete my body
God said no
Your spirit is complete, your body is only temporary
I asked God to give me patience
God said no
Patience is a byproduct of difficulties. It is not given but learned
I asked God to give me hapiness
God said no
I give…

Isaiah 9.6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given...
And He will be called Wonderful Counselor,
Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Merry Christmas, Friends.
In the bleak midwinter, frosty wind made moan,
Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone;
Snow had fallen, snow on snow, snow on snow,
In the bleak midwinter, long ago.
Our God, heaven…

Hello, once more, my dear family in Lord Jesus. =)
I hate to be this way….but when I heard the HLN news this morning, I have felt irritated. Apparently, there was a survey of those who mixed religions, like Christianity, with New Age or other “mystical experiences”….. I know I may not have a right in being critical….but I do not see it as right to be picking and choosing when it comes to our spiritual life.
I mean, I can understand if some Christians do not know that “new…

"But GOd will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me." Psalms 49:15
"He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces." Isaiah 25:8
What do you tell your little one about death? When someone you and they love "graduates" to be with Jesus in Heaven? When someone suffers?
Today early this morning John's sweet Granny Ruth passed away and graduated to be with her Savior and friend Jesus Christ. She…

This is what I read at my mother's funeral. Thought I would share it.
Good morning. People who know me are always a little afraid when I get behind a microphone because they never know exactly what I am going to say.
My name is Ken. I stopped using the name Kenneth because that was the name used by mom when I was in trouble. And that was pretty often. I’m the middle kid. I want to share with you what I think a mother’s love means. If you are at all familiar with Jacob in…

..but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen. II Peter 3:18
God has a plan for every life, and salvation is just the first step. He wants His adopted children to develop a close “family resemblance.” The Holy Spirit is in charge of transforming us into the likeness of Jesus.
The moment that we trust Christ as our personal Savior, we are, in a spiritual sense, newborn babies,…

IS OBAMA THE ANTICHRIST? 2 Thessalonians 2.1-12
Good Morning ~ Here we are . . . back to talking about the coming of the Lord . . . a little more on the topic Paul had discussed in 1 Thessalonians, chapters 4 and 5. If you would like to reread the associated briefings, go to
www.pastorwoman.com, Morning Briefings, “A Hope Like No Other,” and “Can You Tell Me the Date?”
But first – “Dear Lord, Please help us understand the…

AZUZA
In April of 2006, during the worship service of a conference at which I was scheduled to speak, an unusual presence of God began to settle upon me. The heavier God's presence became, the more caught up in a heavenly realm I was. I found myself in the middle of an IMAX or 3-D-like experience. It was as if I were in the middle of an action movie.
I saw an unusually large number of men coming toward me, dressed like rugged, ancient men. They…

I am sitting today and think about my friends and realise that what is a world without a friend, and then I know that if there were no friends in my life it will be boring, because if I had something to say I quickly pick up the phone and call them, if my heart is broken, there is my friend, and even if I don't feel like talking they understand.
I read the book of John, and there it is stated that John give his best friend to God to join God as decipels, and that he truly loved his…

REMEMBER. . . REMAIN 2 Thessalonians 1.1-12
Good Day~
Almost as soon as Paul closes his first letter to the Thessalonians, he begins another—even as he continued to minister with Silas and Timothy in the city of Corinth. In his opening words, he endeavors to bolster the faith of the Thessalonian believers—through reminding them of how God had answered their earlier prayers (1 Thess. 3.10, 12), for increased love and tenacity in their faith—now, both were evident—that is to…

THE PRAYER OF FAITH
Then follow the words of the text: Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours... is one of my favorite verses in the Bible and I'm holding this one of God's promises to us!!!!
Our Savior was desirous of giving His disciples instructions respecting the nature and power of prayer, and the necessity of strong faith in God. He therefore stated a very strong case, a… Continue

Urgent Prayer Alert
I have been waiting several weeks to write this prayer alert, making every effort to hear from the Lord as clearly as possible. I try not to write national prayer alerts frequently, only when I feel they are urgent. This is probably one of the most important assignments I've ever had. Although it is unusually long, please…

"In worshipping God we must lift up our souls to Him. Prayer is the ascent of the soul to God; God must be eyed and the soul employed. Sursum corda - Up with you hearts, was anciently used as a call to devotion. With a holy contempt of the world and the things of it, by a fixed thought and active faith, we must set God before us, and let out our desires towards Him as the fountain of our happiness."
"He who is content with the husks will be reckoned with the swine. If we suck our…
