Who you follow has an impact on those watching you.
A follower of Christ is a leader to God the Father and eternal life.
A follower of the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life leads to destruction and hell.
This is a hard truth for many to bear but is true nonetheless.
If we say we love our children, grandchildren, family and friends but lead them down the wrong path, we are leading them to death that is torment forever.

JOY
Pay close attention to the word "joy" in this verse. Jesus...who for the joy...endured the cross. Despite all Christ faced in dying on the cross, for the joy that was set before him...what joy? The joy of knowing who God is and being obedient all the way to the cross, the grave, the resurrection and now sits at the right hand of the throne of God.
