“We are not Cave Dwellers”
In today’s society of Christian believers, we find David’s original army, those in distress, in debt, and discontented still are alive and not so well, still in the discomfort of grumble mode. 1Sa 22:1 David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father's house heard it, they went down thither to him.
1Sa 22:2 And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one… Continue

Greetings in Christ's Holy Name
It is a beautiful weekend here in southern Ontario in spite of the seasonally low temperatures. Come Monday-Thirsday we ill see more seasonal temperatures ranging from 55F-63F with some showers. As in previous evenings we have a frost warning out. Right now at 4:28pm it is 48F.
On October 12 was our Yhanksgiving as well as my birthday, though cloudy it was nice. In Western Canada including my home Province of Manitoba they have had snow…

We represent GOD, when we walk into a room
Despite of what we’ve done
Or anything we’ve consumed
You see, GOD is always ready to start over
Always ready to re-zoom
Grace and Mercy
For those of us late to bloom
In any and in all directions
Always seeing his face when will look at my reflection
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me
And because God has anointed me
I will preach…

God is so good. After all that me and my fiance been going through, I finally couldn't take it. A week ago I told him that I wanted to change my life and dedicate my life to the Lord, at first he couldn't take the part where we had to stop fornicating since this was out of the blue. So we decided to be friends. We live with each other and this was becoming really hard, so it was getting to the point where he was going to move back to his mother country and I was going to go back to N.Y. but I…

"Unkind judgment of others will be judicially returned upon ourselves..." - Jamieson, Fausset, & Brown Commentary
"You shall be judged by the same rule which you apply to others." - Barnes' Notes
Even though Psalm 109:17-19 refers to the wicked man, there is a lesson in this passage of Scripture for all of us. Let's prayerfully study it and see what important warning we can derive from it.
"As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in…

Adam was walking around the Garden of Eden feeling very lonely, so God asked Adam, "What is wrong with you?" Adam said he didn''t have anyone to talk to. God said he was going to give him a companion and she would be called "woman."
God said, "This person will cook for you and wash your clothes, she will always agree with every decision you make. She will bear your children and never ask you to get up in the middle of the night to take care of them. She will not nag you, and will always be…

Hello,
I had this dream on October 14, 2009.
My whole life I have had strange dreams....not visions...not prophecies(maybe...maybe not..I do not claim) but dreams...while asleep.
I was living in a residence.....like a rented apartment...not my home...with my mother and best friend from the past. In it....I remember thinking..this isn't so bad....I just kind of drink...hang out...and do nothing. In my dream, I remember me and my friend going to a nearby cemetary…

The Cross of Christ
One of my greatest burdens is that the Cross of Christ is rarely explained. It is not enough to say that “He died” - for all men die. It is not enough to say that “He died a noble death” - for
martyrs do the same. We must understand that we have not fully proclaimed the death of Christ with saving power until we have cleared away the confusion that surrounds it and
expounded its true meaning to our hearers - He died bearing the transgressions of His…

Focus On God
Creflo A. Dollar
Have you ever been faced with a seemingly impossible situation? Whether it was a shortage in your bank account, or a bad report from the doctor, we have all been there at some point in our lives. The good news is that God can turn your hopeless situations around when you turn your focus toward Him alone. The enemy will try to attack you with situations and circumstances that appear hopeless, but that is the time to dig in your…

The Parable of the Three Trees
Once upon a mountain top, three little trees stood and
dreamed of what they wanted to become when they
grew up.
The first little tree looked up at the stars and said: "I
want to hold treasure. I want to be covered with gold
and filled with precious stones. I'll be the most
beautiful treasure chest in the world!"
The second little tree looked out at the small stream
trickling by on it's way to the ocean. "I want to…

Processing thoughts of the past bring tidal waves of emotions to the present clashing against the rocks set front of my future.
Storm winds blow, howling all around I sit on my knees looking out over the Horizon. Try to peal back the nights edge so the new day may break free.
Emotion and desires clash together. The More I seek the light the louder the thunder becomes.
Shock waves knocking me back to my knees, the past nipping on my heals as I see my
Future pull…

Everyone has his own kind of intelligence, psychologists tells us. Some people are mathematically gifted, others socially and yet others musically. Stupid is an expletive, a mean and despicable word.
Howeverd, the word fool is not such a word. It is a word of warning that should bring us to a standstill, which should cause electric shocks to go through us. Some people are indeed fools. The Word of God identifies them:
* 'For the fool speaks folly, his mind is busy with…

A person can concern themselves with all of God's commandments and not have Love.
OR- A person can Love God and all people and in doing so fulfill God's commandments.
I think this is a version of the old can't see the forest for the trees addage.
I am looking for a Church in the Seattle-metro area that concerns themselves with outreach as in Matthew 25:31-40, and leaves God's actions and miracles to God. Can anyone help me?
Also I was taught at Set Free San Diego, that…

Heb 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
In 490 B.C., the…

'Your sun will never set again, and your moon wil wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.' - Isaiah 60:20
Go and stand in front of a mirror on a miserable day after a personal failure. Look into the eyes of the mortal before you. What does your observation of yourself tell you? You see weakness and powerlessness, you see strength and sparkle extinguished, insignificance and darkness. Simply by looking in the mirror we discover how much…

RESTORATION AND TRANSEFORMATION
“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.” (2Corinthians 3:18)
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable… Continue
