one thing I have learnt and that is to forgive myself and forgive those that have come and left for we are all human and if we all can accept each other as Christ accepted us it will be like the garden of eve. as peter ask Jesus how many times must I forgive my brother up to 7 times Jesus replied No not 7 times but up to 70 times 7 we must forgive, for if you Love God and hate your brother that is like saying you do not love as God from the heart, we are to love and forgive everyone even…

Grace is mentioned 170 times and is God's unmerited favor, it is by grace you are saved and not by works alone Eccl 1:14 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all …

Though you have not seen him, you love him. And even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy,1 Peter 1:8.
We have an unseen Lover, but He's not on Skype of Facebook, so we are unable to see His face and form. So even though we have not seen Him, when we meet Him we will not be desappointed. There is…

Your thoughts determine the type of day you will have. As we fill our mind with positive ideas, suggestions, and thoughts. We will find it will change our attitude ‘and changing your attitude can change your life’. We all have the choice when it comes to our own attitude - it can be positive or it can be negative, the choice is ours. Sometimes just reading an inspirational quote or a short writing focuses my thinking in a positive “Now faith is being sure of…

Psa 16:11 You make the path of life known to me. Complete joy is in your presence. Pleasures are by your side forever.
Everyone wants to have a life with more times of joy than times of sorrow. In fact, if we had our choice, we’d probably choose to have no sorrow at all. But joy is a very fleeting thing; it can appear for a moment then be gone. People can bring us joy, but they change and disappoint us. There is only one source of joy that is endless, that is eternal, and…

The enemy loves to put thoughts into the believer's mind. Those thoughts (if meditated on), produce strongholds, which produces feelings, which lands you into bondage... all because you listened to the devil more then your heavenly Father! I am going to use a common stronghold here in this teaching as an example... an incorrect perception of who you are in Christ. There are…

Galatians 2:20, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
After we repent (confess and turn from) our sins, and believe upon Jesus Christ and the work that He has done for us on the cross, our life is in Christ and we are identified with Him and His righteousness, thereby setting us free from guilt and…

Justified is another powerful word used in the Bible to describe the forgiveness of our sins and restoration of our relationship with God. my favorite verses in the Bible!
Romans 5:1, "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."
If we take the word justified in this verse, and look it up... we are given the Greek word dikaioo, which means, "to render (that is, show or regard as) just or innocent: - free, justify (-ier), be…

First, we need to understand that the forgiveness of our sins is considered a GIFT... this means that we cannot deserve it or earn it in any way, but we must receive this gift.
Ephesians 2:8, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." Its through faith in Christ Jesus, we can obtain forgiveness of our sins through the blood that He shed for us: Galatians 2:16, "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of…

In the Old Testament, the priests would sacrifice lambs, goats, etc. to cover the people's sins. However, this sacrifice was not significant to remove the stain of sin. But since Christ shed His blood, our sin can be REMOVED from our account! In Hebrews 10, it paints us this picture very clearly.
Hebrews 10:1-22, "For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make…

This is a powerful and liberating teaching that we must understand in order to experience true freedom from guilt and shame of our past. It is absolutely essential for us to realize the forgiving power of the Blood of Jesus! Nothing we can do will ever add to or take away from the work that Christ did on the cross. As the song sings, "What can wash away my sins? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus!"
I think one of the reasons why it is so hard to grasp the true forgiving power…
