Yesterday marked our second prayer meeting at our new Long Beach location—the Sanctuary. It was a delight to have a few more folk with us, but more than that—God was in that place. It was a sweet time.
I started our time with this new song by Daniel Doss:…

Today’s devotional is for the most part a request for prayer from a Christian brother in Pakistan. It came at the time I was about to write this devotional.
Dear Heavenly Father, Your Name is Holy and we rejoice in praise and worship of You and You alone. You have commanded that we put no other Gods before You and we humbly approach You this day and ask that you comfort, protect and provide for all who serve You in every nation where persecution and war against us is present. We…

This is kind of a lengthy Psalm so I will try to keep my own words short on this today. No matter how your day is going, God places opportunities in each one of those days to shine His light and walk in His ways even if those ways are looked upon as strange by many. You just never know what taking those opportunities to show the Love of God will do in just one persons life not to mention what it can do for your own relationship with our Heavenly Father. Don’t miss those opportunities and don’t…

• Is Your God too Small?
Titus 2:11-14
Introduction: The title of the message comes from a book written by J. B. Phillips titled "YOUR GOD IS TOO SMALL." The title caught my eye, but I did not read the book. As I get older physically and spiritually in the Lord I have come to understand the significance of this statement. It has been much on my mind. We can understand that the false and non existent gods of the unbelieving world…

I am not fixated on discouragement, but sooner or later, everyone of us will face it. In fact, I am convinced that it is one primary way that the devil seeks to
get us off balance, and tear us down. Paul
gives us insight into his discouragement—both explanation and hope. Take
a look:…

Black Rose
By: Sandra Rains
Rainbow colored illusions
full of mangy pain
This darkness consumes me
I am a dead-like stain
The sky is above me
and hell is below
Is God protecting me?
only heaven knows
Take this black rose
drape it over my face
Let the thorns cut me
Let me bleed in my own…

Let's have a FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD ,Do not put your self above others. Encourage one another and comfort those in any troubles. And most of all, be a witness, TESTIFY,,,, HE gave nothing but blessing, HE sent us nothing but angels. Like in Romans 8:28 all things work together for good to those… Continue

While I was reading this particular Psalm I kept getting this vision of that old cartoon (of all things) the Roadrunner(Beep, beep)! Man, that nasty coyote just could not seem to get his paws on that Roadrunner no matter how many times he tried. Reminds me of how the devil just never gives up either and how our Almighty God will ALWAYS come through for us. Each time we are being chased down or facing satans ugly ways of seeking to devour us, the Lord will deliver us and our faith builds and…

When that is not to be played around with you're either a christian or not. I now there are people who claim to be christians but really aren't. Why do people pretend to be christians. It bothers me when people pretend to christians, and they truly aren't.
What is your opinion on why people pretend to be christians?
I like to get opinions form real christians and not the world.
Thank you and God Bless

When I was a little girl, I loved the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland; for me, it had it all. A little bit of thrill, a lot of action, boat ride, and hey, it ended
with beautiful jewelry and treasure spread out on the sand—everything
that would bring a sparkle to a little girl’s…

The Fearful Destiny!
By James Smith, 1857
The sinners in Zion are terrified!
Terror has surprised the hypocrites!
"Who can live with this devouring fire?" they cry.
"Who can survive these everlasting burnings?"
Isaiah 33:14
The threatenings of God are solemn things. They are called forth by sin. They prove God's justice. They manifest his unutterable abhorrence of all impurity. They are too much overlooked. Many put them away as if they…

Several years ago, Hollywood and much of the world was rocked by a film
unlike any ever made before it. THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST came closer
to showing what the Lord Jesus endured when He sacrificed His life to
save us from our sins than any "Jesus" movie had ever dared to. Mel
Gibson sought the help of the Christian community to get this incredible
film before the public. Many Christians united to help Mel bring THE
PASSION to theaters. And it made…
