The Lord is my shepherd
Help me Lord when I wander from the fold
Pick me up with your loving arms
Hold me close to your heart
Watch over me and keep me from harm
You are Love so surround my whole being
Teach me and nurture me in your ways
Teach me to love you the way you love me
Take my heart and my soul and keep it with you always

My friends have completely turned against me. One of them is being controled by a bullied and now the one who is being controled by the bully is telling lies to his girlfriend, and now his girlfriend won't even talk to me. (We used to be friends).
His girlfriend is supposed to be a christian, but she's not acting like one.
I don't really have that much friends. Well, now i only have one true friend and she is a true…

Everyday I would like to feel happy and to live life to the fullest with all the people I love. I want to find a good church with the same belief I have and go there like it was my second home. I hope to get the Holy spirit and to live my life as God would be pleased with and to grow spiritually but my life is not that way. Just a few months ago I stop fornicating with my fiance and told him that I didn't want to do anything til I got married, so we should get married or break… Continue

He has been compared to the Messiah. New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson endorsed him for president, saying he was "the kind of once-in-a-lifetime leader that can bring our nation together and restore America's moral leadership in the world."
Observers noted a “religious fervor” in his campaign rhetoric and have described his campaigning style as “mass messianism.” Oprah Winfrey Calls Obama "The One."…

In January 2003, the Rev. Franklin Graham was invited by the Pentagon Chaplain’s Office to give a sermon during a multidenominational religious gathering. In 2010, he was “disinvited” to speak at the Pentagon on National Prayer Day because of his comments which are not supportive of Islamic teachings and practice.

“Do you believe in spirits?” Ask any professing belief in Christ this question and they will return with an unqualified “yes.” Ask them to describe the spirits or their world and the conversation quickly deteriorates. Most Christians, like their unbelieving counterparts, give little if any thought to such things, relegating them to some ethereal realm, outside of human awareness or comprehension. Yet, if we as believers are indeed spiritual, should we not have a greater understanding of such…

The Bible tells us of a time when Christians will be persecuted en masse for their refusal to recant their faith in Christ. Despite the protestations of millions of misguided believers that they will be raptured away from trouble before tribulation comes, the mainstream media is already taking the steps necessary to demonize those who believe the fundamental precepts taught in the Bible.…

They are perhaps the most powerful weapons of the New World Order. Small and virtually powerless on their own, their use as a bargaining chip is almost certain to trigger the most basic instinct to protect them at any cost.

The very notion strikes the majority of humankind to be paranoid fantasy. That such was predicted in the Bible moves the faithless to denounce believers as superstitious fools. When the major media reports that the technology is already in place and being readied for use, the masses react with characteristic indifference.

Atheism is the belief that there is nothing in existence that can be called God. This author has pondered the arguments of Atheists and their inclusion in the Religion and Spirituality section of this publication with some amusement. By and large, their arguments are antithetic.

We have heard it before. Christian fundamentalism is dangerous. The Atheists publish anti-Christian diatribes declaring us to be a danger to society. The Saudi government says it.One need not preach violence to be branded dangerous if one is vociferous in defense of the truth.

My Dear brothers and sisters,
Please understand that I've been sent to play the devil's advocate here on AAG.
First I'll try and learn tact and diplomacy.
Please bear with me as I learn and and understand more about God.

Feeding Sheep or Amusing Goats?
by Charles Spurgeon (edited)
An evil is in the 'professed' camp of the Lord, so gross in its impudence, that the most shortsighted Christian can hardly fail to notice it. During the past few years this evil has developed at an alarming rate. It has worked like leaven until the whole lump ferments!
The devil has seldom done a more clever thing, than hinting to the Church that part of their mission is to provide entertainment for the people, with a…

One of the most valuable things that a person could possibly have is an intimate relationship with God. That same God who is big enough and powerful enough to create the whole universe is also small enough and caring enough to desire a personal relationship with you--a relationship that will last for eternity.
Of course, such an intimate friendship won't happen by chance. Your relationship with… Continue
