As we begin to remember all that took place in these next few days. Let us make sure we understand just what it all means to us. Our Beloved Lord Jesus Christ accepted responsibility for our sins. He literally went through hell for us. His Body beaten, bruised, and torn apart, and from those things we are healed and made whole. Isa 53:5 But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He…

Well it's that time of year again. The time that many husbands dread. Time for Spring cleaning. Wives, their voices dripping with honey, implore us to help move the couch, the love seat, and to dust an upper shelf that's out of their reach. (I explain to my wife that we have a step ladder in the laundry room. Her response? “I have one dear. You.” Being tall isn't all it's cracked up to be at times.) We shouldn't forget that, as Christians, we are not above God doing some housework in us.…

Dear Heavenly Father, I am thankful for Your love and the opportunity to serve You. I truly want to leave my children and grandchildren a godly inheritance. I pray that they each will be guided by You and that they remain in the will of God. May they all serve and follow You. Protect them each, and keep them from evil. Lord, filter out the humanism of this world so it does not enter into their thinking patterns; may they be influenced by godly thinking instead. Lord, may Your Words be…

Who else saw Jesus see after he had shed his burial clothes?
Now that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaeus, about seven miles from Jerusalem. (Luke 24) They were talking with each other about everything that had happened. As they talked and discussed these things with…

My understanding of the Scriptures is that they teach that those who are following and obeying Jesus will be saved and those who are not following and obeying Jesus will be lost. Many years of studying the Scriptures in their original languages has confirmed this to me (cf. The parables of the sower; Matt. 24:36-25:46; Rev. 2-3; 21:7-8).
John 3:16 from the Greek can be translated as:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever is being faithful in Him…

~~~Trusting God is with you~~~
By: Marianne Lordi
I know that God is with you
and he hears your every prayer
He never sleeps nor slumbers
as he holds your every tear.
As days seem overwhelming
and pain just fills your night
Remember that you’re not alone
You’re always in his sight.
When troubles seem to have no…
Faith and Trust in God is not optimism or positive thinking. These things share some similarity, but they are not equal. Optimism is a feeling, it is a emotion. Positive thinking is powered by self. Do not get me wrong, nothing is wrong with them. They are better by far than their counterparts. As we see in Rom Faith comes from the Word of God. Rom 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.…
The Epicenter of History. Today's Scripture from Luke 24 and John 20
So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb. Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. He bent…
Being unable to participate
during the worship service
is a poor spiritual sign.
Unwillingness to offer praise,
while standing in His Presence,
shows a deficient of new wine.
For the obvious silence
reveals an apparent lack of Faith
and failure to know God's design.
A desire of heavenly passion
cannot resonate from within,
when not letting your love for Him to shine.
For the true strength of one's belief
is confirmed…
Do you realize?
After birthing heart-felt prayers,
have you seen them rise as sweet perfume?
For their glorious scent fills God's nostrils
as His Presence consumes Heaven's throne room.
Do you know?
Our Father covets this sacred incense,
that burns in the cries of His Children.
He is forever mindful of us
and our continuing battle for overcoming sin.
Do you want…
Dear Heavenly Father, I do thank You that You have given us Your Word and wisdom. Help us to walk in Your ways so that we will avoid the traps of the enemy. Lord, I am thankful that by following Your commandments You have prevented the devil from harming me. I do ask for Your protection over all of Your children. Lord, help me today to walk in love and be a good witness to all that I come in contact with. Help me to be sensitive to Your Spirit and respond to the things You ask me to do.…
Brothers and Sisters, today I am touched to write about Jesus giving His life on the cross so that our sins may be forgiven. I think of all that He went through and all that He suffered all because He loves us. He gave His life so that our sins would be forgiven. & Yet…
“Christ is risen. He has risen indeed!” Many of you will say that at church this week . . . and, how blessed are we to go to church two thousand years after the resurrection and celebrate what took place on that Sunday so long ago?!
We will consider Luke’s…
It should seem, by the account Paul gives of himself in this chapter, that, from the very first preaching and planting of Christianity, there was a difference of apprehension between those Christians who had first been Jews and those who had first been Gentiles. Many of those who had first been Jews retained a regard to the ceremonial law, and strove to keep up the reputation of that; but those who had first been Gentiles had no regard to the law of Moses, but took pure Christianity as…
Dear Heavenly Father, I do thank You for the encouragement that You bring, when at times, I am tempted to become discouraged in certain situations. I am greatly encouraged when You do answer my prayers. You truly are a faithful God that hears and answers our prayers. I am amazed at times, when I have totally forgotten a prayer that I prayed years ago and suddenly it comes to pass. Lord, encourage my brothers and sisters in the Lord, and answer their prayers that have been prayed…
