“When you pray do not behave like the hypocrites.” Mt.6:5
Reflection:
Deceit and hypocrisy are poison to the soul. Nothing is hidden from God and He knows what we really are.
Can we attempt to be what we are not? God is not deceived by our pretenses.
Prayer:
“Eternal Light, kindly enlighten my spirit. Let me always walk in truth and humility before You. In the name of Jesus I pray. AMEN!!!”

Sawyer after being able to breath on his own was simply amazing the doctors. He was so ahead of schedule. Yes he was having episodes with his breathing, but was pretty much doing a lot on his own. He was now at 34 weeks gestation where the things he was accomplishing were two weeks early. A true miracle in their eyes.
We were so waiting for the day that Sawyer would be moved from his isolette to a bassinet. They were now slowly preparing him for that moment.
On Christmas Eve…

Sufficient for the day is the Lord’s grace,
although the day has troubles of its own;
remain standing on the foundation of faith,
for the secret… is going before God’s throne.
Daily measures of mercies and love are available,
since Christ our advocate is making intercessions
that lift us up – for when we eventually fall down,
as the result of our sinful transgressions.
Sufficient for the day is the Lord’s…

The morally deficient have no clue,
not finding God within their heart;
are they absorbed by corruption
and unwillingly from sin to depart?
Our Lord gazes down upon Mankind,
seeing the vileness of human deeds.
Do these workers of iniquity know anything
about meeting any of humanity’s needs?
So many souls are wickedly consumed,
analogous to the devouring of bread.
How unfortunate and Godless they…

“In giving alms you are not to let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.” Mt.6:3
Reflection:
To seek human gratitude and acknowledgment is to seek not God’s glory but to satisfy our own selfish pride.
Those who wish to please God must do good for His sake. Hence, every offering bears the mark of a true and unconditional dedication.
Prayer:
“Lord, grant me a pure love that neither knows nor wishes anything else…

We all have this battle in us, between self and doing God's will. Between loving our self and loving God. We will and always have fallen short of His glory. We have always gone against Him.The only time we do His will and truly love Him is when He Is living through us. Have you ever said,'' I can't believe what he or she just did or said,''? We probably all have. That's because we want credit for being good. That's how desperate we really are. It's awesome to know how forgiving He is and…

Be on guard because in latter times there will be a lot of seducing spirits going out. As the word of God says in 1 Timothy 4:1- Now the Spirit expressly say that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. Meaning some people will literally try to lead you astray from God and his word .And lead you straight to hell. As the word of God says in Acts 20:28-Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock among which the…

“That we have passed from death to life we know because we love the brothers.” 1Jn.3:14
Reflection:
Love for neighbor is the sign of new life in God. Those who bear God within them and love Him will also extend their love to their neighbor.
Those who show no concern for their neighbor show that they have not found the life in God, or that they have lost it again.
Prayer:
“Father of all creatures, give me a child’s heart. Make…

“Treat others the way you would have them treat you.” Mt.7:12
Reflection:
Refraining from evil is not enough. God commands us to do good.
Is this the rule of my life? One day I will be judged according to the deeds of love.
Prayer:
“Loving Savior, pour Your love into my heart. Make me ready and willing to give myself to others as You have given Yourself for me. In the name of Jesus I pray. AMEN!!!”

I have a new baby sister! She was born on thursday the 8th of this month. Her name is shelby and she is 7 pounds 20 ounces and 19 inches. She was suppose to be do on my birthday which is the 13th but it was pretty close only 6 days apart. I have been wanting a sister for a while. I have two little brothers and I was getting a bit tired of being the only girl. She is so cute and is already trying to hold her head up.

“I am The Way.” Jn.14:6
Reflection:
As the sea is necessary to the ships that sail on it, so Christ is needed by our souls. He is The Way.
Those who are not in Christ but go their own way will never attain their goal.
Prayer:
“My Savior, be always at my side and lead me, through this life on earth, to Your eternal dwelling, to Your Father and mine. In the name of Jesus I pray. AMEN!!!”

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for this day. I find that many of my days are challenging in dealing with certain people in my life. Help me to always be kind and gentle, and not respond in the wrong way to people who say things that bother me. Help me to have Your compassion for them and pray for them instead of criticizing them. Also, Lord, I find that many times, I try to justify my position in situations that would be better if I just let You defend me.…

“The way we know we remain in Him and He in us is that He has given us of His Spirit.” 1Jn.4:13
Reflection:
God in me and I in Him. This means that I must not let myself be dominated by my natural instincts but must allow the Holy Spirit to be the driving force of my life.
Is this true in me?
Prayer:
“Eternal God, pour forth Your Spirit into my heart. Let me go through this life as a pilgrim heaven bound. In the name of…

Dear Heavenly Father, I am so thankful that You are my Father. You are so kind and patient with me. Lord, I do want You to work in my life and set me free from all weakness and sin. Cleanse my heart and deliver me from all that offends You. Give me a heart of forgiveness for those who have hurt me. Lord, I do want your nature to be formed in me. I offer my life to You again today to die to my own way and live to Yours. I trust that You have the best plan for me and that You will give me…
