I must begin with telling all that read this that I believe in Christ as my Lord and Savior. I believe that he allowed His blood to be shed to wash away my sin and that He died physically on the Cross at Calvary and that in three days (by the Jewish calendar) rose from the grave to take His place in Glory as our High Priest before God the Father.
I've heard the arguments regarding the concept of once saved, always saved. This teaching is not Biblical. Give me scriptures as to it's…

February 14
Morning
“And his allowance was a continual allowance given him of the king, a daily rate for every day, all the days of his life.”
- 2Ki_25:30
Jehoiachin was not sent away from the king’s palace with a store to last him for months, but his provision was given him as a daily pension. Herein he well pictures the happy position of all the Lord’s people. A daily portion is all that a man really wants. We do not need tomorrow’s supplies; that day…

Let’s open our Bibles to John, chapter 17. We have the opportunity to go back to this particular chapter. This chapter culminates the evening that our Lord spend with His disciples. Starting in chapter 13, running all the way through chapter 16, He gives instruction, promises, warnings. He sets them up for the future without Him. At the same time as He gives promises and warnings, He also tells them that the Holy Spirit is going to come, and the Holy Spirit will be to them even more than He…

If peace matters to anybody out there, it matter to me too, i am a mother with children growing apart from each other because of war. The hope of raising children in a home surrounded with parents love is fading and i am advancing in age. There are families who lost their loved ones and are left with empty seats in various homes. A mark that can not be erased and…

You can take your Bible and open to John, Chapter 17. This chapter is unparalleled in Scripture. It is unique among all the portions of Scripture because it is the prayer of our Lord, the Son of God, to the Father. It deserves careful attention. In all honesty, one could be lost for a lifetime in this chapter. It’s truths are so far-reaching, so high, so wide, so deep, so elevated, that it’s almost impossible to extract yourself from the chapter, or from any verse, or even any phrase. The…

So often when we come into conflict with another person, we only think about what’s good or bad for “me,” how uncomfortable “I” feel, how “I” can get out of this mess, or how “I” got into it in the first place.
The main issue with these thoughts is that they are all about “me” and “mine,” and in that train of consciousness there is no acknowledgement of: “OK, this person has come into my life for some good reason, but right now we are at odds. Have I learned…

Your heavenly Father knoweth (Matthew 6:32).
A visitor at a school for the deaf and dumb was writing questions on the blackboard for the children. By and by he wrote this sentence: "Why has God made me to hear and speak, and made you deaf and dumb?"
The awful sentence fell upon the little ones like a fierce blow in the face. They sat palsied before that dreadful "Why?" And then a little girl…

Forget business for a minute for getting exactly what you need! It is said that the righteous souls never have “peace” in this world. They are always in middle of the cosmic battle between Light and Darkness, fighting on behalf of the rest of us.
Thankfully, most of us don’t have to go through a life of unending struggle because we’re not as spiritually elevated as these righteous souls. But what we can glean from their sacrifice is the understanding that every trial that we…

When Christ came to earth, Israel was living under the crushing rule of Rome. The Jews were heavily burdened by Roman taxes and laws. Meanwhile, a greedy priesthood was taking advantage of widows and the poor. The downtrodden were mocked and ridiculed, and the people were blinded by corruption. All of this is why so many of the prophets said Christ would come in an hour of darkness, bringing great light.
Jesus came into a society plagued by…

In my profile, I stated that I hold some beliefs to which many here may take exception. Here are the first two.
1) Creation: I believe that God created our universe in six days. I also believe that the creation was orchestrated by God through the "Big Bang". The reason I believe this is because of the speed with which He created earth, water, moon, stars and sun. The laws of physics were put in place by our creator and while He can do anything He wants, I don't believe He would…
