Pride is a big problem for many people. When our self-esteem and reputation are at stake, we will do anything to keep it. Having pride is in contradiction with the character of Jesus. He said

“ Nothing to prove ” has correlation with the attitude of humility which should be owned by every Christian. Let us look at the life of Judas Iscariot, the last seconds before he kissed Jesus as a sign of arrests for Roman soldiers, Jesus Christ in his capacity as Lord could be "tempted" to prove who He really is.
