- My story with God
- God saved me at age 13 while attending a youth revival. I entered the US Army after high school as a Chaplain's Asst and some things went on that were difficult. At this point, I drew away from my service and worship to God, but I still believed in him. He brought something in my life and got me back on the right track for him. After this, I met my husband and thought everything was good now because I have my family that God calls for and we are good people. My husband had good morals and believed in God, but we weren't praying or going to church like we should. After 6 years of marriage I finally started going to church faithfully and renewing my relationship with God once again. My husband tried for a few months, said it wasn't for him and stopped going. Within 6 months he wanted a divorced and forced me and our children to move out of our home. Been separated for 4 months now and God has brought me close to HIM more than ever through this storm. I imagine God's reasoning for all of this was to bring my 100% back to Him. Unfortunately, my husband still resist God and is engaging in other relationships with women. I would love for reconciliation, but I know God gave man free-will and if my husband doesn't choose to obey and turn to God and stop his affairs, then I know God will still bless me and my kids. I just pray for God's Will to be done, whatever it may be. I am here to follow God and give Him my all. Glory to God, since the separation, my 10 year old has been led to Christ and baptized. I am glad to be setting a solid foundation for my kids by being a Godly example for them.
