LOVE NEVER GETS TIRED OF WAITING. ( 1 CORINTHIANS 13;4a GWT )
CHARITY SUFFERS LONG. ( KJV )
LOVE IS ALWAYS PATIENT (ISV)
The GK says love is long spirited. So God's love has an enduring quality. I really think we give up on others much to easily. I have family members that seem as far away from God as they could ever be, yet this love in my heart refuses to give up on them.
The enemy is always on our cases tempting me to do otherwise. If the love of God is in our lives we need to tap into it's enduring qualities when it comes to dealing with others. Others. Love is patient and long spirited.
1 Thessalonian 5:14 says, " We urge you, brethren, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone.''
"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love." ( Ephesians 4:2 )
I find that I have an unlimited amount of patience for some people and with some others I have little patience. Especially with family members. Maybe we have a harder time being patient with family members because some how because they are connected with us that they are making us look bad. This is just pride and we have to admit that it is something we need deal with.
The God kind of love is a love that is patient.
"The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance." ( 2Peter 3:9 )
Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? ( Romans 2:4 )
PRAYER
Father God the Holy Spirit has poured your love into our hearts and we know that one of the qualities of love is patience. Father god help us to live out that love by being patient with others. Help us to be long-spirited, and not get tired of waiting. We desire to use this love in our lives to show patience with those you have given to us, at work, at church, in our homes. In the name of Jesus we pray amen.

WHAT'S A CHURCH?
A well-worn one-dollar bill and a similarly distressed twenty-dollar bill arrived at a Federal Reserve Bank to be retired. As they moved along the conveyor belt to be burned, they struck up a conversation. The twenty-dollar bill reminisced about its travels all over the country.
"I've had a pretty good life," the twenty-dollar bill proclaimed. "Why I've been to Las Vegas and Atlantic City , the finest restaurants in New York , performances on Broadway, and even a cruise to the Caribbean "
"Wow!" said the one-dollar bill. "You've really had an exciting life!"
"So tell me," says the twenty-dollar bill, "where have you been throughout your lifetime?"
The one dollar bill replies, "Oh, I've been to the Methodist Church , the Baptist Church, the Lutheran Church."
The twenty-dollar bill interrupts, "What's a church?"
