Footprints in the Sand


One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,
"You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during
the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one
set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most,
you have not been there for me?"

The Lord replied,
"The times when you have
seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
is when I carried you."

Father God, thank you for your goodness and mercy to Grace, thank you for being mindful of Grace, thank you Father God for perfecting all that concerns her and supplying all her need according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus, thank you Father God for making her the head and not the tail, on top and not beneath, thank you for seeing her through all that she is going through, guiding her and directing and loving her so much, thank you for the job that is coming soon her way, thank you for giving her a heart of love and compassion and thank you Father God that she is able to say with you that you are all knowing, all magnificient, all wonderful God and is able to deliver, heal and provide in Jesus name I pray.

You are in my thoughts and prayers all this week. God is on your side and He loves you, you are more than conquerer in Him and through Him,
