Greetings in the Lord! This is Bob, one of ThaNET Moderators. Welcome! We're glad you are here!

Elvis I just want you to know that God still loves you and that He has a wonderful plan for your life. I pray that God will help you to develop that passion that you once had again.

I have known the Lord for 34 years and also had my dry times. It just becomes easier and easier to back off and pull out of fellowship, then the problems start where all of a sudden you are dealing with addictions, and doing things you would have never done before when you were with the Lord.

I know the big lie of the devil that he uses; that you are some how missing out by being a follower of the Lord. The devil seeks to kill, steal, and destroy you, but God promises you life free from the entrapment's of the enemy.

I have a friend who looks about your age , a handsome guy from a wonderful Christian family. He fell from the Lord, ended up getting a girl pregnant, married her, had to give the baby up for adoption, then comes home to find his unsaved wife with another man. This all took place in a little over a year.

This guy is drinking and is such a mess today and it breaks my heart.
You see the Devil promises you Heaven, but you end up with Hell.
I don't usually send such a letter to some one I am greeting, but feel the Holy spirit compelling me to do so.

Elvis have you ever seen the Matrix movie? It is the same with those in the world they have a false reality and it is only that. What is real is God's love and a relationship with Him that is awesome and there is nothing in this world that can compare to Him.
