There's a new effort to persuade people to get "Back in church".  It's targeting those who once attended church but who no longer come.  Most participating churches showed an uptick in attendance, and the effort is gaining momentum.

In one of His " I am" statements Jesus said He was the " light of the world." Anyone who follows Him, He said would not " walk in darkness" but would "have the light of life." John 8:12

So Jesus is the light of the world, but He also told His disciples, "You are the light of the world." In fact, He compared us to a lamp that is given light by another light and we who follow Him, are the lesser lights.…
