Growing up and having wisdom that comes from God

My story with God

I started going to church when i was 14 only because my parents would make me. I never paid attention but little by little i started to listen to what they would say. I know God started talking to me and i felt something incredible. I started reading the bible, reading books about him, and started to ask questions to the people from my church. I truly believe that he was showing himself to me because I was looking for him. Once i felt how strong i was feeling for him, i got scared. I started to think that i was too young to give him my life. I opened up my heart to Jesus and then became so afraid. I still can't let go of this world. I need help and i know where to look for it but I'm so afraid to let go and let God take control. I know that he's my father and that he knows what's best for me so I don't understand why I'm so afraid.
