Welcome! My name is Paige,another Moderator here on TheNet and I think its such a blessing to have you join our community of believers who are here to support,encourage and grow in His love each day. I am pleased that you have came all the way from Pennsylvania to fellowship with us? How did you find us? Me, I just basically ran right in to TheNet. I seriously have no idea how I got here. I joined last October, and I praise God that He led me here. You will be blessed here Wendy. It is no coincidence that you are here.
That is such a blessing that you were raised in a Christian home all your life. I think it is pretty common for a person in thier teens to stray for a time because teens are soo strong willed and think they know it all, like I did! I thought I knew it all and could take on anything!!! But I was sadly mistaken. At least you had that Christian foundation to lean back on. I was raised with no church or even any knowledge of Him. I was lost, and had a hard life. But in 2002, God found me homeless,hopless and without thr will to live, but he loved me enough to save me and forgive me for what I did. I praise God for all the lovely people that have joined that have been in a place where they thought there was no hope, or meaning. But thanks be to God! He came an saved us all!
Im a homemaker too like you. I enjoy walking as well. When the weather is too hot or too cold, I get on my treadmill and walk away all the stress and it feels soo good. Excersize is one of the best ways to health, and happiness. I do at least an hour a day. I love walks outside when I can get out, so that I can enjoy God beauty> Dont you look around when you walk and be in awe of Gods artistry? Im an artist thanks be to Him, but He is the ultimate artist ,that is for sure.
Well, Wendy, I hope I didnt bore you to death with this welcome, but I read your story and what you are passionate about and I am the same way. You are going to like it here and you have soo much to give to all of us. Im excited to get to knoe you sister!
