I'm passionate about...: My lovely wife and I do prison ministry and nursing home ministry and hospital ministry as God opens doors.

I ask God every day to enable me to follow this verse and incorporate it into my daily life: Philippians 3:10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death (NKJV).

My story with God: I was raised in a completely nonChristian home. My mother (for her own reasons and I suppose because she was hurting) chose not to be a part of our family. She left when I was 3-years-old.

My father raised me as a single father, and I am an only child. A family cannot get any smaller than that and still be a family!!

I thank God for my father for his fatherly love and faithfulness laid the foundation for me to be secure and to trust God my Father to know Him.

I pray for his clear and convincing salvation daily.

Even though I am a Christian (by faith and by Grace), I have had "relationship issues" because my mother left. I did not know how to relate to "the woman".

The super short story about how I met my lovely wife is that God brought her into my life at just the right time. Before I met her, God was speaking very specific things to her about me - and when she told me before (and after) we married - I was blown away!

MY SUMMARY STORY:

God used (and is using) my human father to teach me God's faithfulness.
God used (and is using) my lovely wife to teach me about Jesus' "never forsaking, never abandoning love".

GOD IS GOOD!

Other stuff about me:: I am planning, Lord willing, to finish my pastoral degree. However, in the mean time, my lovely wife (who is Korean) found an MBA course which we both can take FREE and FULL SCHOLARSHIP!

Even though this was not the direction I was planning to go, I thought, "How many FREE opportunities for education and learning does a person get in life?"

I also thought about what Evangelist Billy Graham said at an Urbana Conference I heard over 20 years ago which still rings true in my mind today: "Learn all you can about everything you can - for you never know what you may need on the mission field."

Though I am not "strictly" going "on the foreign mission field", we are all ambassadors for Christ in our workplaces and at home and in our neighborhoods.

So, my lovely wife and I decided to "go for it" and take the MBA course. I am currently writing my thesis on "Internet Discipleship Evangelism: Comparing the "real relationship group" with the "virtual relationship group". I want to do a type of statistical analysis of using the same discipleship material for both groups (real and virtual) for about 8 weeks or so, and then periodically using a "Likert-type scale" or a "rating scale" to try to measure people's perception of spiritual growth.
