I'm here to...: Share my experiences with fellow believer's, learn more about God from others.

Interests:: I enjoy playing and watching sports, staying active and going to the gym, spending time with my church family, playing fetch with my dog.

I'm passionate about...: I'm passionate about my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and I'm being called by him to let go of my shyness and bring the good news to those who do not know him. I am looking for opportunities to help others through Jesus, so they can enjoy the tremendous peace I've been given by Him.

My story with God: I grew up going to private school and going to church up until high school. Once high school came around I began to become distant from the Lord and I felt that I didn't need to follow His word. I was in this ignorant stage until January 31 of this year when after watching a video on Pastor Rick Warren's book "40 Days of Purpose" I realized I am not in control of my life and I need Jesus to guide me the way I am meant to go. I am filled with so much peace knowing that nothing can destroy me because my Savior is with me ALL the time. I am energized by the Holy Spirit when I pray, If I was told a year ago I would have the relationship with God that I do now, I would probably laugh and think "no way". I am continually amazed by how far the Lord continues to lead me. I must always remind myself, it's not in me but it's in God.

Other stuff about me:: I been given the gift of listening to others by God and I enjoy being around other people and helping them in anyway I can. It feels so good to help others and I wish I would do it more often. I love movies - especially any comic book movie - batman is my favorite. I love music and recommend the songs "Breathing" by Lifehouse and "You" by Switchfoot, these songs paint a great picture of God in my opinion, Check them out! :)
