- My story with God
- For the past few years I have had something in me to know a greater truth, something was missing. I read many books on silly things and believed them. But still something wasn't right. Until one night I had a dream, I was wandering through a house with many rooms, some dark some dim, and inside the house was a horrible man I was running and trying to hide from. I eventually made it outside, and looked up and the most wonderful vision formed out of the clouds of a woman, she had a gentle voice. "what are you looking for?" she asked. I couldn't answer her because I felt ashamed before her. She said to me "your not going to find anything here" I felt so sorry for myself, she then said the whole of King David looks Down upon you and can see you. (I don't know what his means but I remember this is what she said in the dream). You know where to find him you have the answers, you know the answer." I then said gazing at her "I don't know what it is" she said back to me "there is just something in your way" and thousands of voices shouted the word Denial!" It was as if all the peoples in heaven were shouting this so I would hear. And my heart did hear it!
I interpreted this: I knew what I was looking for but one thing prevented me from seeing it ...deniel, denieing my self of the truth, denieing I wanted to know God and denieing I knew the way to him was through Christ and In his teachings through the holy scripture. So many ways I denied God and myself.
Since then my journey to knowing God has been remarkable, through prayer and reading the scriptures I have now come to this point that I put my faith into action and submit my life to Christ. And I do this because I love him, for he has showen his love to me in many ways.

How are you? It sure is a blessing to have you here.
I love what you wrote about your story with God. I was very lost and in major denial too, but after alot of very sinful years and at my deathbed, God found me and miraculously brought me from death to life. Not just physically, but mentally and in my relationships and family. Its been a tough road still, but I still have His strength. You and I have been through alot, but praise God we made it victoriously!!!!! Yay!!!

I really like it here because its a great online source of Christian information,and fellowship. When I find it hard to get out of the house or hard to get to church, I get online and get "filled" with His word and all the other believers and thier prayers. Its soo good to know that when Im hurting there are others that are too and in need of the same love and support I do from the Lord. Praise God for His work on the Cross!!! We are all one body now and can work together to heal and help other members.
Also, Id like to invite you to come over and visit us in the Womens Group where women from all ages and all walks of life come to encourage and be encouraged to help, and be helped, to share thier wisdom with other women , and get prayer that we all need as women to continue in our faith and the path God has set before us all.
