Seeing people getting saved, seeing Christians so victorious that they frequently experience the filling of the Holy Spirit
"SpiriTreat" because it's a treat to be filled with the Holy Spirit
My story with God
Grew up in a Christian home, went to church all my life. Rebellious through my late teens. Got in a car chase at 18. Didn't want to get a DUI and ended up getting that and about 20 tickets on top of it. LOL Asked God to help get me thru my 30 day jail sentence. He did and I started reading the Bible and cleaning up my life.
Went to a Christian college and got 3 degrees there but somehow lost my way after graduating. One day about a year ago the Holy Spirit told me, out of the blue, "You need to quit gambling." I did. Wasn't making any money at it anyhow, *blushing chuckle* Started reading the Bible again. Zowie. That charged me up again and made me wonder why I ever stopped. That cleaned me up enough that I started experiencing regular Spirit-fillings again and I'm back. I crave Bible-reading now and, in spite of being an introvert, the Spirit has strengthened me to the extent that I surprise myself by being able to share my faith fairly regularly.
I can't quite resolve why the Lord, with full foreknowledge, chose to create life, with all the temporal/eternal pain and suffering. But good will prevail eventually and I don't see the whole picture. And does hell have to be forever and ever, consciously, for every resident? Those things trip me up to an extent but not enough to lose my faith.
Other stuff about me:
I have manuscripts going (detective, romance, action/suspense) that I hope to have published within a year or two.
I own and enjoy two dirt bikes, two four-wheelers, and a couple classic sports cars (84 Mazda RX-7 black/red 5 spd, and a 79 Corvette, black/black 4 spd)

Wecome to AAG, I hope you enjoy this fantastic fellowship and join in the chat room to discuss anything and everything. Since I joined a few months ago, I have made many new friends and had some great discussions and sometimes a heated debate, or two, but what the heck, that's what it is all about. Love your collection of cars, especially the 79 Corvette. Blessings to you.
